	I read and loved all the books. I can't wait for the next book, and i'm re-reading all of the books right now. I thought the movie was total crap though.

I always laugh when someone mentions realism within fantasy, but I understand what you mean. She's essentially the only woman he's been within three feet of and has decided to latch onto her. For all his growth through the series I expected Eragon to have gotten over but instead he childishly clings to her, bah. I promptly laughed and vowed to despise it because skipping Saphira's growth is absurd. The game was awful too, it was Lord of the Rings essentially. Eragon's attachment to Arya could be viewed as himself looking up to her in a way as a motherly figure, so to speak (very, very roughly).

Plus Arya was the first elf he ever saw, and they are described as a beautiful race. Spoiler:Ending I liked how they didn't give him a completely sloppy ending when it came to his love for Arya, yet at heart he'd won her over. The movie was mainly tripe, although the imagery was great. Villages, mountains, forest were all great filming locations. Jeremy Irons played Brom really well, and personally I think Galbatorix looked how i'd imagined him (although he technically shouldn't have appeared until the fourth movie ). 	Well, I read this book in like 2/3 days so it's safe to say that it thoroughly engrossed me. That being said, I feel empty after having read it. For example: Spoiler:Thoughts -There was very little sword play involved, and all of that bullshit that Glaedr taught Eragon proved almost irrelevant. -Galbatorix was too easy to defeat. - No important characters died. - Arya and Eragon didn't even kiss. bleep that. It was that woman (the one who forged Brisingr, Rhunon? Forgot her name ) who said to Eragon that it always ends with a sword-fight. And there were no swordfights (or dragon-air-battles) with Mr.'Torix, only a lame duel with Murtagh. The swordfights between Eragon and Arya were much better. 	what do you think was the biggest difference between eragon the book and the movie? Personally i think it was that orik wasn't in the movie. He becomes such an important character later in the series

	I'm planning on picking this up next time I see a good deal on it in stores. For those of you that Eragon back when it was originally released do you still feel that this is a good series? I have high hopes for it but it's been 9 years now since Eragon and 3 years since Brisingr and my interests have definitely changed over that time. Was fascinating at 11 but at 20 now I don't know if I will be able to get into it as much. -------------------

	Enhance It's...decent. I've grown both as a reader and a writer since I first picked up Eragon and it simply isn't the same. However, even if I were still younger, I think that Inheritance is still a disappointment in comparison to the rest of the series, especially Brisingr. It's not the best, and it's not the worst series I've ever read (not even the worst fantasy series I've ever read), but it definitely doesn't grip me the way it once did. ------------------- Heaven or Hell? 	Overall, I liked this book very much. Then again, I'm easy to please. However, there are a couple things that displeased me. Spoiler:A Couple Things The first thing I noticed from the very beginning, and I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned it: Eragon's relationship with Saphira was very much ignored. In the other books, we got a real feeling of the bond between them, and there were all these heart-to-heart conversations that the readers got to be in on. In this book, though, Saphira didn't say much at all. This displeases me most, because that bond between the two of them and how they communicate with each other is what I loved most. Nasuada and Murtagh. I wanted them to be together, and the fact that they ended up not saddened me. Eragon and Arya. YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. WE WAITED 4 bleepING BOOKS FOR THEM TO GET TOGETHER, OR AT THE VERY LEAST KISS, AND YOU DIDN'T GIVE IT TO US? NOT COOL. Really, this saddens me a lot. Especially since I very much expected it to happen. I expected that, somehow, Eragon would get to talk to Brom again. It would have been nice. Saphira and Firnen's...relationship(?) didn't seem very real. She just pounced on him immediately, and suddenly had this deep relationship with him. If just felt very off to me. ALSO HE'S ONLY A COUPLE MONTHS OLD. SAPHIRA, WHY YOU ROB THE CRADLE SO MUCH? Why exactly can't Eragon return to Alagaesia? It seems like it would be quite simple, and he certainly has reason enough to do it. The only thing that I wanted to know about Angela was why the elves respect her so much. Most everything else I'm fine with not knowing. OH, AND HOW DOES SHE KNOW ALL THESE THINGS THAT SHE SHOULDN'T BE KNOWING? But, there are things I liked very much. Spoiler:Things I Like Very Much Unlike the rest of you, I'm actually quite happy that none of the main characters died. I am very appreciative of that. It was very nice to not have to deal with the death of anyone who had grown close to me throughout the series...unlike what a certain Rowling would do! I am very happy that Murtagh didn't have to be killed, and actually turned back to the good side. I had been hoping for it ever since he turned evil, and I am very happy (I SAY IT TWICE, YES) that Paolini delivered. The egg hatched for Arya. I had hoped that would be the case, and throughout the whole book I was waiting for it to happen. Although I expected it to happen before taking on Galbatorix (who was described how I always imagined, funnily enough), but this was better. When I realized that there was going to be a good hundred or so pages detailing events after the death of Galbatorix, I was quite pleased. I had been under the impression that the king would die, and the book would end shortly after that. The chapter where they found the Eldunari and the eggs in the Vault of Souls? I LOVED IT. I enjoyed reading that very much. I liked reading about the werecats. I just like their attitude about everything. King Cat was a good chapter. It seems to me that none of you read the Acknowledgments? Paolini apologized for not explaining Angela and her secrets, but said that that the fact that we don't know all about her is what makes her so fascinating. He also said that he is not done with Alagaesia, and plans to return to it eventually (perhaps in a few years, or maybe even a few months) to answer the questions he left unanswered in Inheritance (Belt of Beloth the Wise, anyone?). That is something I am most happy about. He has given us hope that there will be more to read of this world. It's something I wanted most out of the end of this book, and I certainly didn't expect to find out then and there that he was actually going to return to this world. Personally, I would like for another series, about Eragon training the new Riders and such. Alternatively, a series of prequels, about the original age of Riders. Being older just makes it easier to nitpick Paolini's errors or strange things you missed when you first read it as a kid, captivated.
