I know i've been doing alot of 'stab in the dark' topics (seeing if anyone reads the books I do) but its so that I know I aint crazy.

Anyway these books are Sci fi and very interesting. Especially the timeline in the back of the book showing the advance of the human race.

So if anyone actually reads these books. (which I seriously doubt) tell me, theres only three in the nights dawn trilogy, thats what i'm reading. But tell me about any others out there and post your favourite.

Just ordered the first book of The Night's Dawn trilogy as I've heard these books are good and somewhat similar to Iain M Banks, which I am enjoying as an introduction to sci-fi. Can anyone shed some more light on these books without ruining anything please?

Well I've already bought The Reality Dysfunction, haven't started reading it yet though. Got a few other things to read first.

What about the other universe(s) Hamilton has created? Anyone read any of them? The Commonwealth saga, Pandora's Star, Judas Unchained, followed by the Void trilogy. What are your takes on those? Better than the Night's Dawn trilogy or not?

Never did start The Reality Dysfunction. I saw Pandora's Star on sale for 50p, so picked it up. Eventually started reading it (I have so many books I want to read, and so many series/trilogies started but not finished).

Finished it yesterday, and bloody hell that was awesome. It's a massive book, with quite a lot of different plot lines, so it starts very slow. It picks up speed though and most of the stories come together. I really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend it.
