They're the same basic concept but there's a lot of things in the movie that aren't in the book and vice versa. Probably my favourite character in the movie doesn't appear in the book at all! Captain Shakespear, right? I enjoyed the movie a whole lot more than the book, to be honest. The book was a bit bland and unexciting, the movie is humorous and thrilling. Yes!! He was brilliant! Suolo haha, yeah...I started reading WoK and got through the first two books BEFORE learning it was going to be a ten-book epic. Dammit. At least Sanderson is a relatively quick writer, so it'll be faster than if it was George RR Martin. Loved those books though! Really can't wait to see where everything goes.
