Currently Reading Ch.6 - Page 26

Today, I'm going to start retracing all of the Harry Potters! I'm hoping to finish a book a day. But I'll probably only reread Deathly Hallows all the way up to Shell Cottage, just so the emotion of the final chapters is fresh when HP DH pt. 2 comes out.

1984 by George Orwell, I'm only about 1/4 of the way through, but it's such an interesting read so far.

I love that book. I read it a bit over a year ago, just for fun, in eighth grade. I'd freak out every time someone mentioned it because I thought it was such a cool and interesting book. Some of the English students at a highschool in my town have to read it as an assigned reading. They all complain about it and say it's boring and confusing, which saddens me because it's one of my all time favorites.

Well, I did start the Sorceror's Stone today! After about two hours, I'm about a third of the way through it. Gosh I'm a slow reader...

I'm currently reading Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire. I've read about 12-13 chapters so far and its great.

After I've finished that I'll read the rest of the Harry Potter Books and then The Godfather which I've had for about a year

I heard about the book a few days ago and its meant to be really good. I tried looking for it in the book shop but couldn't find it

Currently reading 3 books, actually. Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk (which I'm farthest into), Socrates Cafe by Christopher Phillips, and East of Eden by John Steinbeck. All are very good in their own right and I'd definitely recommend Fight Club and Socrates Cafe to anyone, haven't gotten far enough into East of Eden to make a recommendation though.

Just finished reading Anthem by Ayn Rand. It was a good, quick read but at the same time, as one who has read "The Giver", seemed like something I'd read before. They are practically the same book. I'm not sure which came first but the latter is definitely a rip-off.

Anyways, I'm composing a literary analysis essay of the two books I just read now, which I'm not too excited about

I'm reading The Catcher in the Rye at the moment. I've read a load of the 'classic' books, the ones you always see on the lists of books to read before you die sort of thing, like To Kill a Mockingbird and 1984 and I have to say, this is one of the few I've actually enjoyed. It's still taking me longer than usual to tackle it though.
