We hear bits of it. I've read a copy someone made up and it's hilarious!

Well judgin by what I have read about Nanny Ogg and the book's she is in then I think it is rather safe to assume it's funny in some area's.

I believe it is a joke book, modeled as a cookbook.

I would rather not find out if any of the recipes actually work.

It's cookery and anecdotes. From what i remember reading in the shop, here's one- "they say that the way to a mans heart is through his stomach. Which shows they know as little about biology as they do about everything else. Unless they're talking about how to stab him, in which case a better way is up and under the ribcage."

Must be pretty rare; sounds like few here have it and have rarely even seen it.

The book isn't that rare; I've seen it in a number of different bookshops. I think the reason that many peoepl have not heard of it is that they might have overlooked it, seeing as it does not look like a Discworld book at first glance.

Is it published in England, or what?

I have seen the books quite available, for example, Amazon.co.uk have all the books, and a book with all the trilogies in it. Lookie here....
