i just checked out the materia jam thread, and it seems like great fun! i wont be taking part obviously, but i think it would be a good addition to the forum and i'd be happy to help out with anything about the thread or anything, just not creative ebough to take part XD

There was one indeed. I have prepared something of a "report" for the first few pages of the game reviews on Word (the ones I feel we need to discuss) but haven't found the chance to post it yet.

User Reviews

Right then, I went through the first three (out of the eleven) pages of the User Reviews.

Note that this is not a list of just the reviews I want to edit/remove. I actually included a few more reviews that could generate discussion. If a review is not mentioned, I consider its quality and helpfulness above average. If it is mentioned, it does not necessarily mean its quality is bad.

So here it is:

Spirit Mafias review- i would ssy edit it ti but editing out all the useless parts/bad language would leave it with hardly anything

Shoes review- Seems okay to me

Kokoros review- dont like it, i think it was criticising for the sake of criticisng.

Lovecrafts review- It wasnt bad up to the last paragraph, donest seem to serve much purpose though

bk imperialdramon pm's review - too many off the wll things and some broken links, i dont think its worth keeping.


Harvester_of_Sorrow's review i think keep this one, it doesnt seem bad to me.



KillerGunblade's review- i wouldnt keep it if it was me, creative as it was.

I think Kokoro and KillerGunblade's reviews should be trashed. Those were not helpful at all. It doesn't look like Kokoro even played past the first 10 minutes, and KillerGunblade's wasn't even a review.

I don't think you should edit anyone's reviews unless it's just grammer/spelling errors/spam.

bk imperialdramon pm's review wasn't informative at all. It should probably be deleted as well.

Cascade7's review wasn't bad imo.

He seemed to be way too harsh on the music though. >_>

I agree with keeping shoe's now...it's just odd how he'd comment on Selphie having a short dress and Shiva, a GF, when you got Tifa from FFVII xD Meh, it's like he never played VII or any of the others. And also, the graphics? He did that review in '05...for the love of God, they were good for 1999. But other than that, at least he has some decent reasons.

Why would people think that the characters are really that bland? Many of them developed in my eyes...only downside is their backstory.

Haha, Kokoro's and Killer's have to go.

The first couple are completely pathetic. Sorry excuse for a review if i've ever seen one. Get rid of shoes tbh. Real disgrace. People saying the graphics are bad. I mean For its time it they're awsome. To me they're awsome now. I wrote a good review about how good ff8 is. About everythign in the game and the review got denied. I mean wtf. Some idiot reviews get accepted and I say everything thats good about the game and it gets denied. Honestly I think you should delete the awful ones.Forget editing them.

Deleted the reviews of Kokoro, H P Lovecraft, bk imperialdramon and KillerGunblade.

Also edited SpiritMafia's review.

I will be reviewing the next three pages in the following days.
