I totally agree with you Lone. Should only be on the Picture introduction thread. Thats a perfect place to put it, introducing newcomers to the forum with nice gentle music as well as a brilliant forum.

I'm definitely agreeing that music should only ever be added to an intro thread. It'd be a pain in the @$$ if music was added to random threads, especially since some people listen to other music while browsing the forums, or suffer from errors when music is put into threads. (I had baaad troubles with that when I had dial-up)

I've personally only added it to my Intro thread, as well as music related threads, such as this and this. Other than that, I reckon it'd be annoying.

Yes, there most probably won't be any other music headers in the forum; the Intro thread is enough.

On another note, I changed the piece from Balamb Garden to The Extreme. I might be rotating some FF8 tunes from now on.

I dunno about the rotating music, Balambgarden music should be good enough => I dunno though because there are many good songs. All I see is a lil tiny box on the right with a lil dot init. No music!

I'm thinking of creating a User Review thread. I will be clearing that section of the Final Fantasy VIII neoseeker profile soon, given the quality of some of them, but I want to have the members' feedback / opinion before I delete / edit certain reviews.

What does everyone think about this?

Have to agree with you Storm, seems that guy was still hanging on to his FFVII waaaaay too much to look objective to FFVIII. "Where's my materia?!" Wtf?? That dude wants to have no inovation every game he plays? Well, guess it is all a matter of taste, we loved both the materia and the junction system, though we can imagine the junction system gets hard for people who are too lazy to read through all of Quisty's instructions.
But "shat on a plate?!" "actually want to give negatives!"?? What is more realistic about a sword twice your size than a gunblade? Both Sepiroth and Cloud handled swords that are very impractical and would not win you any battles irl. But that is why it is Final Fantasy, isn't it? Most people who play this don't look for realism, unless they really want to downtalk the game. Oh yeah, materia is realistic too...
Well, he does have a point that the love story gets a lot of focus, and then it is indeed a question of you like it or you don't. To some it is what makes it the best game ever, to some it can be really tiring.

But to cut a long story short, we think that author uses a lot of non-reasons to argument his opinions. We personally don't see how one can like one FF and not the others, for us it's a feast to play a new one everytime!

PS: BG, can't say we agree with your point of battles being too easy. Not if you're new to the game, we found FFVIII to be more challenging since just leveling up wouldn't get you anywhere. Well, that is our opinion.

I was wondering if we have a riddles thread here... I think it would be nice to have one.
