List of uber cool savegames!

Hi folks, as a battlesystem related player, i like to make a "beat-him-just-for-fun-savegame" for every cool boss.


I think a list of my savegames could be quite fun and interesting. The first thing i did, was to learn Card and Cardmod before Ifrit. Then i played cards for about 25 hours against the receptionist of Balamb Garden. The main goal was to get 50 Ruby Dragon cards and 50 Chimera cards to get 100 Flare (STR+56) with Ifrit and 100 Fullife (HP+4800) with Siren. And of course i got tons of other items, enough for 600 Tornadoes, 600 Meltdowns and so on.


I'll fill a memory card with savegames at starting levels, and make a few Level 100 savegames on a second memory card.


Part1: Low level savegames!


1. Squall vs Ifrit (Squistis moments ftw, hehehehehe!!!!)

Savepoint: On the world map write before the Fire Cavern, after Quistis' teaching.

I junctionned Quezacotl with Quistis, to abuse her Limit Break, and Squall to Shiva to support Quistis.

Surprisingly Quistis wasn't as powerful as i expected, except Gatling Gun, all of her moves are magical, and Ifrit has a very high Spirit stat and absorbs Fire Breath! But it's still fun to beat Ifrit with a few hits, or a single Renzokuken!


2. Seifer vs Galbadia

Savepoint: First savepoint after landing in Dollet.

Not much to say here, sadly you cannot fight any bosses with Seifer, not even Diablos. But i still need a savegame with him and the cool music!


3. Squall vs Elvoret

Savepoint: Dollet Tower

I just made that savegame in case i mess up the X-ATM092 savegame.


4. Squall vs XATM092 (the TWINTEN-challenge, ya know!)

Savepoint: Dollet Tower

Unlike TWINTEN i didn't remodel Squalls weapon, to avoid timeconsuming finishers, ya know. But with 100 Flare to STR, STR+20% and STR+40%, i could still beat it with a single Renzokuken. But for some reason i failed, i didn't manage to encounter it 16 times, the fight wasn't too hard i think, but it's hard to encounter it, because you cannot challenge it instantly after you beat it.


5. Quistis vs Granaldo (another Squistis moment, hehehehehe!!!!)

Savepoint: Training Centre after the main Squistis moment.

Granaldo isn't a real challenge, but it's fun to abuse Blue Magic, especially Bad Breath!


6. Laguna vs Diablos (with Laguna allone!!!!)

Savepoint: Last savepoint before you talk with Julia.

This one is great, hehehe, it looks like a challenge first, but for some reason Diablos is even more of a pushover than if you beat him with Zell, muaahaaaahaaaahaaaahaaaa!!!!

The best thing is, that you can interrupt the talk with Julia with a fight against Diablos, hehehe, sadly she doesn't get angry if you leave her allone!


That's all for now, i'll continue this list as soon as i get some new savegames.

This is already a very cool thread, and we´re sure it´ll only get better!
BTW, if you ever cycle all the way here, don´t forget to bring your memory card(s) Meteor! We´d love to copy that savegame before XATM092 as we doubt we´ll ever find the time again to endlessly whack those stupid Fastitocalons and then card them...
