Sorry to keep you waiting, just got home. Actually it worked well to allow Mike and BG to go.

Here goes :

2. I beleive it is as soon as Quistis and Squall leave Balamb Garden for the Fire Cavern Test, and think it is located on/in the railroad bridge tunnel near the town of Balamb.

3. You got me here...my guess would be from fighting a T-rexaur.

4. Zone gives you the precious Shiva Card as a reward for fueling his naughty magazine interest.

5. I believe it is once. You can avoid it catching up to you by pressing the triangle button in the screen with the cracked path, and if you are nimble enough you can avoid running into it on the bridge. Therefore, the initial attack is the only mandatory battle.


Now my analysis of Matt's answers:
1. Incorrect becuase you left out a few important ones. Notice I specified all ways to restore character(s) to full health. The ones you left out include: (a.)Owls Tears from the old man's house in Timber, and (b.)anytime you stay at a hotel or rest in someone's room. Furthermore, pet house only restores GF's health, but not Characters health. However, you got most of them, therefore 0.5

2. Correct, A moon stone is required for Irvine's exeter 1

3. Incorrect. According to Know-it-all-Zell, the island is also known as Battleship Island. The deep sea deposit is part of the DSRC 0

4. Incorrect. There are three attacks that reduce a character's/characters' health to 1. They are Soul Crush, Corona, and Hell's Judegemtn which you named. 0

5. Correct. All four ways inclrease a character's affinity to Doomtrain. 1

In sum, you scored 2.5.

Grats Topaz, like BG I think you're going to be one of the surprise opponents. Unlucky Matt but nice try.

Mostly correct. It is VIII, IIII (as oppose to IV) and VI beacuse They represent the first letter of the paintings you need to choose and then how many I's are contained in the word. But as you were close i'll give you the mark.

The Fujin attack happened to me in my last playthrough during the first fight, you hardly ever see it, if you beat her too fast.


However, we still wait for Mikes solution, don't we? Although he lost, it would still be interesting to know the answers.

Well, BGs answer to the 4th question was wrong, Rapture does kill undead opponents, it's a remove attack, not a death spell like The End.

The correct answer was it doesn't kill certain opponents like Grats, Vysage, Lefty or Righty.


It' exactly the same thing for Degenerator btw, except Rapture hits all opponents.


However, the other 4 answers were correct, so BG definitely won.
