the monsters on the lunar cry were going berserk so its gotta be the lunar cry and ellone took squall when rinao went into a coma who was possesed by ultemecia and told seifer to find lunatic pandora under the sea before she went into a coam so how could have seifer excavated lunatic pandora that quickly? or maybe it was already in the air???

im thinking that the crater are what left of where the Garden used to be not joking there, the garden rises up, then the missiles hit on an unexistent target

Yeah, it is.

They must have packed some heavy explosives in it to make a hole that big. Then again, there were targeting the Garden.

Speaking of which, if I remember correctly, there should be another hole like that where Trabia Garden was, rite?

I don't think it matters what ratio ya put on the missile.

Only difference it makes could be that ya may not get a SeeD rank if ya didn't do as what the game tells ya to do, or ya may not progress forward.

The Crater is from the original "Lunar Cry" - an event that was many, many years before the game began, that was responsible for A. monsters being on the planet (since they come from the moon) and B. the Centra civilization being wiped out. They were supposed to be an advanced civilization. There used to be a great city in the place of the crater.

All Gardens were originally mobile survival shelters that the surviving Centra people used. In time, people were able to live outside the shelters and spread throughout the world again, and the functions of the Garden became forgotten as time went on and the shelters were no longer needed.

Cid, Edea, and Norg would later 'reclaim' these lost relics of the past to use as their Gardens to train SeeD, and of course their true nature is later rediscovered by Cid and Squall. That everything still worked right after so long of a time in disuse and neglect, says a great deal about the craftsmanship of the Centra.

well, who is to say that there arent even more Lunar Crys than just the 17 year old one and the bigger Centra one?


It could be an impact from a more minor Cry before or after the 4000 year old one... after all, monsters are everywhere, not just on Centra, and unless all the monsters can fly or swim, they had to have some way of getting onto other continents.


as for more cities in the game, it makes sense that there would be a small amount of them, as the monsters run rampant and only the most defenseable of places would be used. humanity would need to live in large groups in order to survive, considering that monsters definately out number them. Galbadia has the most cities and locations because they are the most easily defendable country... they are THE military might in that reality.


then again, without the original game designers input, we can only speculate.


and as for them being unable to put in the extra stuff do to time constraint or budget, its very possible. Just because its easy to make a city in a certain persons mind, doesnt mean that they could. sometimes money runs out, or the hit the deadline and cant finish adding another twenty GFs or another set of code for the dialogue of a future city.
