I don't like the look on that Selphie, and I don't have anything better to say about Lulu. Tifa, however looks awesome.

I believe Lulu looks better than Tifa.

I judge cosplayers not by costume, but by how attractive they are. And visible panties always give them bonus points.

This Lulu is more attractive than this Tifa and her panties won't change my mind.

I remember having a similar argument with Rinoa_I somewhere else in this thread. VinDiesel2 does have a point. Good looking people make good cosplayers because it's more likely that they look like the FF characters, who always seem to be hot. An ugly person cosplaying Rinoa (for example) wouldn't get very far because a good cosplay is decided by how similar they look to their chosen character. In this respect it would be very far off, even with a half decent costume.

I agree, it's not that we simply prefer attractive people and that's it, it's that attractive people tend to look much closer to the character, and that is the ultimate goal.

Sure we can go with an "everyone wins" scenario to make everyone happy, but when it comes down to it, you're body is also part of the costume. People are going to have to accept that. Although I do still respect the less attractive people that make costumes and don't believe they deserved to made fun of in any way.
