-Yes I read that. I said materia MUST be excluded from the fight, and magic on both parties, because it is unfair versus the junction system in VIII.
-I recall the game saying Cloud was 16 on his first mission though... The only flashback of when he was in Shinra military on a mission at a young age, was when he was 16 i'm fairly sure. if it was 14 though, you got me, i'd just like to know where it said that? even if this is true, he still does not use a sword until zach dies.
-I don't think you could really count the number of feats and death situations because they are entirely different games and the makers don't create clone-like experiences for different game characters other than romance.
-Fell through sector 5 plates... well of course he survived. Why would they end the main character there? Plus the point of the game is to be exciting. Thus make exciting perils and triumphs.
-You can not say his sword weighs 100lbs+ because it's not length alone that makes a sword heavy, it is the thickness as well. It never appeared to be all that thick. and 100+ lbs wouldn't hold well on a tiny handle like the buster sword has.
-I do not recall the game ever stating SOLDIER members were injected with JCells, and if they were, then you are saying Cloud is the only SOLDIER member alive still in control of himself. You would be saying the people in the black robes are every other SOLDIER member there was, and they went insane and did not inherit any abilities that you say the cells give.
-You can not compare Squalls fight scene with Seifer with Cloud. In Squalls limit breaks, he shows just as much speed and agility as Cloud.
-Sephiroth was out of Cloud's league in feats of strength. Cloud could never have impaled a midgar zolom like Seph. Defeat it? Yeah, but not manhandle it like Seph. Cloud beat Seph because he's supposed to. Realistically if you look at how powerful Sephiroth was, there's no way Cloud should have won. Plus if you remember, Cloud never beats Sephiroth alone except for in AC. You beat Seph at the end in FFVII no matter what because even if you didn't get Omnislash before, you start with it as your possible first attack(it did for me anyway), and it automatically kills him. Or so it did for me.
I give up on this subject. it will always be never-ending lol
