Selphie and Irvine were best friends as children, and although Irvine grows up to be a womaniser while Selphie forgets him, they may have been the only person the other could truly be themselves with. It seems to be that Selphie forces herself to be cheerful a lot of the time. The line "It's gonna be like a picnic! We're gonna have fun!" seemed rather forced to me, almost as if she were afraid not to look on the brightside. That side of her could be developed more. Also, the way Irvine sometimes talks of the loneliness of the sharpshooter could have been used. There's also the fact that they were both orphans. Orphans are good for a plot, since they can be anything. Why did none of them think to track down a friend of their parents and ask Ellone to send them back? Or ask Ellone to show them Edea's past memory of the time they arrived at the orphanage? I think Selphie at least, considering the way she cares so much about her friends, would have wanted to know what her family was like. Irvine, I feel, would have wanted to know how he ended up in the orphanage. Of course, I'm biased towards Selphie since I RP as her, so I already thought all this out. 	Yeah, you do seem to have thought about it. I'd love to see more details about the past of the Laguna party, but most people would want to see what happens next, meaning a prequel is not probable at all. Anyway, if we do have a sequel I'd like to see more details about Quistis. And maybe a combined battle of all humans (led by the SeeD) against Hyne.

	If they do make a sequal, it better not be like FFX-2. It might not work as well as FF7 though because the ending to FF7 sucked and they needed to continue on with AC and DoC. -------------------

	I don't think the ending of FF7 was bad at all. 	who or what is Hyne? I keep reading it in FFVIII Fanfiction and I just thought it was something the writer made up and I've never heard the word in the actual game (at least I don't think so).

	i have a feeling that if they touch on R=U it will b just as indirect as it was during the game. They really couldnt do anything really because it would b like 5 years later rinoa is all weeeeeeee! and squall is like dude rinoa calm down then squall dies at the end cept he doesnt cuz square would never kill off a money maker, coughcloudcough all these sequels are gunna do IMO is ruin the story by answering questions in the game that were better left unanswered

	Really do you think there could be a FFx on this hmm. I wouldnt mind seeing it but I dont truly doubt it. I think the main reason they done it on FFx was becuase it was a big hit and how do I say, probably more of a hit then this game was. I doubt they will do this

	No, I don't think there's a natural sequel there. FFX and VII weren't completely finished, not in the way FFVIII is. A sequel to VIII would seem forced. ------------------- The Krav Vegan I am a Slut - and here's why
