Replay Value!! |
|
This has to be the FF with the most replay value, nearly 3 years since it's release(9-9-99) and I've picked it up again for what HAS to be the 6th or more time through. this and FFVI have this weird hold on me where I just can't stop for more than a few months. I mean months after I grew disgusted with FFX I go back to my old companion VIII.*hugs the CDs* But I can't place what is so drawing(no pun intended) about this game. Why do i keep coming back to it... ------------------- quote VeGiTAX2

I have found the same thing to be true with me. Although, I must wait a while before I try to play it again, or else its just to annoying, because you know every exact detail about the game. I've started over a few days ago though... ------------------- "I didn't beg you to come along, and I don't want a lecture."

Yes, this is a really re-playable game, I just re-played it for the 5th time or so a couple weeks ago, and I Think it is so replayable cause the storyline is really good, It begins to grow on you, and you get hooked, even if it is your 10th time through.

It must be the way they packed the game with the fabulous storyline and the great gameplay. Also, the card games are not that difficult and are fun to play. With the other FF's the supposedly fun things like Blitz Ball for FFX are quite difficult on the first try. It's the entire package I tell you! The excitement never dies down. -------------------

i was playin ff8 this morning. its well addictive. i usually go back to it cause i really like the characters and it has a world map, unlike ffx. but its such a cool game. i like flying round in ragnarock and playing cards in balamb, no better way to spend your weekend than in the world of ff8 ------------------- ![]()

I bought Final Fantasy 10, and I have had it for quite a while, and I still play it. There is always so much to do on the final fantasy games. ------------------- Visit the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life forums.

FFX is great the first time through, but it grows monotonous and there is a powerful sense of "THAT'S IT?!! ThAT'S ALL THEEEE IS TO THIS?!" to it for me. It lacks the depth and connectivity of VI and VIII's characters and story. If you pay attention to all the detail of 8, there are a lot of little things, how every character's maneurisms are different, how every town has different archittecture and colloquialisms, the junction system provides endless customization and you can alter your strengths and weaknesses easier by cjanging your junction. And the card game is just so large and so fun... ------------------- quote VeGiTAX2

I agree kyo. I loved ffx the first time through but now I just don't find it exciting. But with FF7 and FF8 I can play through them countless times and still not get bored. -------------------

I love final fantasy 8 too. You could play it for ever and it will never lose its fun. Although, it could get a little repetative. ------------------- Visit the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life forums.

FF8 is one of the greatest FF's. FFX was good the first time, but FF8 just has more challenge to it, like the Omega Weapon, that guy is one tough cookie. The Bosses are harder, too, unless you prepare earlier then its easy. Either way, FF8 is a classic.... -------------------

You got that right, one of the best, no wait, the best of the Final Fantasys. If it had the voices and graphics of Final Fantasy 10 it would be by far the best game ever! ------------------- Visit the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life forums.
