Best Junctions?

With Ultima being banned, what would you junction to each stat, assuming you have 100 of each. Mine would be:

HP: Full-Life (+4800)
Str: Meteor (+75)
Vitality: Regen (+70)
Magic: Triple (+70)
Spirit: Reflect (+72)
Speed: Haste (+50)
Evade: Tornado (+13)
Hit: Double (+40)
Luck: Pain (+40)

HP: Flare (+3200)
Str: Meteor (+75)
Vit: Meltdown (+80)
Mag: Pain (+60)
Spr: Full-Life (+85)
Spd: Triple (+70)
Eva: Tornado (+13)
Hit: Double (+40)
Luck: Aura (+40)

Of course, such a setup can never be objective and absolute. Spells like Aura and Pain might be useful in other departments (actual spell and St-Def respectively), plus I'm assuming we're talking about a high level character who can max his HP without having to resort to Full-Life.

Yes of course that's what we are talking about
It is, but I rarely use spells in the game, only usually Ultima, Curaga, and Aura.

Strength (Str): x 100 Flare

Vitality (Vit): x 100 Meltdown

Magic (Mag): x 100 Pain

Spirit (Spr): x 100 Curaga

Speed (Spd): x 100 Triple

Evasion (Eva): x 100 Tornado

Hit Percentage (Hit%): x 100 Quake

Luck (Luck): x 100 Aura

Elemental Attack (Elem-Atk): x 100 Elem-aga (Firaga, Blizzaga, Thundaga, etc.)

Elemental Defence x 4 (Elem-Def x 4):
1. x 100 Life
2. x 100 Shell
3. x 100 Ultima
4. x 100 Full-Life

Status Attack (Status-Atk): x 100 Death

Status Defence x 4 (Status-Def x 4):
1. x 100 Status Magic to fit Situation
2. x 100 Holy
3. x 100 Esuna
4. x 100 Reflect


I really thought this through, but it's most useful after the Max-Stat-Bonus challenge...works for me...

Yes, that's true. That setup "wastes" powerful spells such as Full-Life and Ultima to Elemental Defense, a much less vital department than character stats. So it seems most useful when used at a Stat-Bonus game.

I was just wondering: how effective is that St-Def setup against Malboros? I'm pretty sure it doesn't provide 100% immunity to their Bad Breath, so do your characters end up inflicted with random negative status each time? I always depended on the traditional Berserk-Confuse-Pain-Sleep combination, so I don't have much experience with other setups.

Heh...Malboro's don't live long enough to use the damn thing...and if they do...heh heh heh...255 Strength, Beserk, Haste, Huge Speed...heh heh heh...

The Best junctions for Disc one are:

1) Squall: Shiva, Ifrit and Diablos and Siren with:

VIT=LIFE=Curaga (over 3000hp)
STR=FRZ= Watera (over 50 points)
DEF, RST= Protect and shell (both over 60)
For the Magic Power anything yo like but i recomend
Thundaga, for the Spirit Morfeo or Life.

now if you want a little of extra heavy power attach
Firaga or Blizaga as an Especial added effect 1 and
morfeo with darkness.


2) Krineas The same above of Squall, but the Gf should be Quetzalcoalt, and ifirt (later when shiva has more junctions remove ifrit).

3) Brother and Carbuncle with the Squall especifications for the text above.



oh and if you have Petrify add it to the wepon of all members and if 100% the enmies wil be petrified


Change the Petrify to the armor and use the Death Spell it will kill almost any enmy and ultima by now i use it for the defense hey i have 12 so an icrease of the 12% of all Diablos and Brothers with Rinoa and Pandemona with Squall and Squall has Quetzalcoalt,Shiva,Ifrit and Siren to with as an ability STR Prize

Forget about the last Junctions Here is What you should give Squall:

Siren, Alexander, Pandemona, Brothers and Ifritwhy do you ask well if give the Rossetta stone to Alexander so he has 4 Abilities and pair 100 Deaths to your Elemental Attack, Esuna to the Armor, and any other Thing that Helps you to protect yourself from Atlered Stats (if you want to confront malboros a 100Esunas, 100 deaths in armor, 100 petrify to your weapon or i you have more spaces on your elemental Def Add to 100 Berserks, Bios, and of course Confuse, this will protect you from the Malboros bad Breath ), and for the 1st slot add Pyro++, Bizzard++ or Thunder++ this is because Quake isnt effective against the Malboros, to Speed i dont Know

my last post was old now i have Eden and Bahamuth so i say:


Squall:

100 Cura++ to the HP.
100 Tornado to the STR.
100 Aqua to the Resistance.
100 Drain to the Spirit.
100 Haste to the Speed.
100 of Double or Triple to the Evasion.
nothing to the aim.
100 Quake to Luck.

100 of Electro++ to the Elemtal Attack.
100 of Artema to the Defense.
100 of Shells to the Defense.
100 of Safe to the Defense.

100 Petrify/Stop to the Stat Attack.
100 Esuna to the Status Def.
100 Holy to the Status Def.
100 Berserk to the Status Def.
100 Confu to the Status Def.
100 Death tot he Status Def.


This will boost a lot your stats to the max and the last 3 is for the Malboros since if they use bad breath the attack only will cause sleep on you .
