	Log in to remove this sponsored message My Palit video card is dead and I want to RMA it but the sticker on the back is missing, can i still RMA it ? I know it says " Warranty void " but I'm still hoping Palit would accept it XD I won't buy any Palit product anymore ~__~

	If you still have your box you might be able to get away with this. Otherwise there's no Serial number attached to the card which is a pretty essential piece of the puzzle. Part number essentially means nothing as it's not a unique identifier which is the only part you have left. -------------------

	Hard to say.... one thing I've noticed is that the sticker isn't really secure. It very easily comes off, to the point I've had to stick it back on in the past. Only real way to find out would be emailing Palit support and pleading your case, but you might need to be prepared for a 'No' answer.

	I still have the box. How many years is the Palit warranty on GPUs ? and what are the things should I include when returning the GPU ? Yeah that sticker comes off easily ~__~

Please contact your merchant immediately if either one of those condition apply to your newly purchased product. ^ Last one is where it hurts, I take it the label isn't floating around anywhere at all possibly in your case? That might help the situation a bit more. Like I mentioned before, that's pretty much the only way they can ID that a card is unique and genuine but sometimes the box also helps because so few people keep it and it's almost ultimate proof right there. Only other thing I can think of is if you have the receipt, although this also then requires you're also in the warranty window Lot of what-if moments in there but it's up to you if you want to give it a shot. -------------------

	This sucks. I have a similar card and it also died not too long ago. Was thinking of bringing it to one of their centers but I never pay enough attention to my desktop anymore.

	I changed the original fan with a Deepcool aftermarket cooler. Will Palit know this even if I don't tell them and void my warranty ?

	If you replace it with the original carefully then it should be difficult for them to tell. If it voided your warranty or not that would depend from manufacturer to manufacturer... it should mention in your instruction booklet/warranty guides about void conditions. I know changing from stock to aftermarket coolers on CPUs void warranties, but if done properly it will be very hard for a manufacturer to know unless you really make it obvious. The same would apply to overclocking. I'd probably leave off telling them since that is an automatic admission of guilt and they'd assume that by changing something you broke it and it wasn't just the card failing. Most manufacturers are like this, not just Palit.

	Someone mentioned about the sticker that Palit puts on the screw and I have already forgotten about it and I don't know where it is now. This spells doom for me, right ? XD
