	Log in to remove this sponsored message getting a new Dell U3011 but still need to buy the cables. Would this cable be able to run the 2560 resolution? if not, can someone link to something suitable for the resolution -------------------

	Apparently to get 2560x1600 over DVI you need dual link DVI (DVI-D), plus you have to worry about cable quality and also length. At 3 meters that cable seems kind of long. 	List. PCIe 2.1 with display port sorted out gave me this list. I put PCIe 2.0 and the majority came out with the 560 instead. Don't know if you want regular Display port or Mini. But yeah. Here are some. ------------------- My PC

	anyone know why there's 2 DVI ports on the monitor it self? if your using DVI you would just need this cable right? (in the description it says this is a Dual Link DVI-D Cable) Will be awhile till i can afford to buy a video card with a Display Port since i just spent $1000 on a monitor -------------------

	LCD refers to how the images are displayed. LED refers to the backlight. i think earlier backlights were CFL. -------------------

	Anyone know what resolution you run when you just use HDMI on this monitor? i know you can't get up to 2560 x 1600 with HDMI -------------------

	thats acually something that confuses me. full hd is 1080p, meaning 1080 pixels vertically. compared to 1600 pixels, thats shit, yet somehow looks better? what does hd actually do? thats said, and i am probably wayyy off on this, the max hd res would be something x 1080, where the something would depend on your aspect ratio -------------------
