	Log in to remove this sponsored message I'm looking at an Asus gaming laptop and it has this graphics card. Is this pretty good? Will it last for a while and play games at high settings? Thanks -------------------

	yeah it should be enough to play all new games on medium-high, if not high settings. -------------------

	It will be enough to play ALL games on high, and most on max (excluding a few like Crysis 2, and Metro 2033, most likely). 	im curious - why is it that AA is usually a seperate trait to settings running at 'high' or 'medium' settings? i mean, its still a setting, right? thats why i dont think you can truly comsider a game maxed out without considering that. -------------------

Maybe it's related to resolution? I mean, not everyone runs games at a high enough resolution to justify a performance eating feature like AA. AA is specifically for making the game look better at high resolutions, not changing the basic graphical qualities of the game. They could be using that excuse for excluding it from being included in the tiers (It also allows devs/publishers to claim that as pretty as a game is, you can run it on maximum on a lower priced rig, when in reality the AA set to maximum would require a significant upgrade)? ------------------- α Ω Blood Dragon ~\| Starbound \|~ Last Light

	It really depends on the game. A game like half life 2 or the expansions wouldn't have a problem with AA with that card but something like crysis on high settings with AA would cripple the card but you might be able to run AA with lowered settings. As far as high vs medium goes it's somewhat personal preference imo. High for me has to be max detail on the textures, aa, LoD, effects, and af. As for lighting effects I could completely care less. The only time shadows are useful is in games like counter strike where they can easily give away an unsuspecting enemy's location. ------------------- You look just like a zombie, inches from dead and pretty, With purple flowers in your hair.
