Pyramid Head... (some spoilers) - Page 14

Dotn remember, but PH is in my opinion the most mysterious,and frightening demon in the game, and that a hell of a good thing to.

why do you think that? , no-one else has mentioned it

I've mentioned this before, and the only reason I'm mentioning it again is because...um...I haven't changed my mind and no one wants to look back towards the beginning of the forum

As far as the whole Pyramid Head is concerned, I have a theory:

It ties directly with James's character. He killed his wife because she was getting sick. He killed her because when she was sick, she was unable to fulfill that basic desire of sex that James wanted. After it happened, he managed to convince himself that Mary died because of the sickenss, and not him.

Now, the theory is this: Pyramid Head is a reflection of James's character. Think about it. You never see Pyramid Head unless he is doing something wrong (The sex in the hotel room, the other sex in the stairwell where you fight him...i'm referring to cut scenes, not when you see him behind the bars or are fighting him).

Another thing you have to analyze are Maria and Laura. Maria is the side of Mary that James has always wanted (sexually attractive, works in a strip club, acts like she is an object solely for James's sexual desire). Laura, however, is the side of Mary that is trying to remind James of what he's done. She wants him to remember that he killed Mary. Both of them, however, are leading James to the ultimate conclusion: He was the one that killed Mary, and there was no way to rationalize it. It was murder.

So when Pyramid Head kills Maria 3 times, it is hurting James, because 1. it's the side of Mary that he wanted, and its gone now, and 2. It's symbolizing James killing Mary.

My only theory as to why there are 2 Pyramid Heads at the end of the games is that James killed Eddie beforehand, and that the second one is there because it was his second murder.

in the pyramid head boss room there are only 2 , the ones you fight are the same ones that kill maria (again) even though only 1 kills her , the other is standing next to her (one either side) then while james goes into his monologue about it being time to end it , the same 2 pyramid heads on the ledge come down and fight you.......there are only 2

oh and about james being pyramid head ,how does that explain about pyramid heads being executors from the cival war and skewering people in the prison (how they killed maria at the end) remember the picture in the silent hill historical society (misty day or whatever), i only asked why you said that it was james because you seemed unsure , you said it was him..........at least i THINK so and i wondered how you came to that conclution , with no real evidence (im not trying to sound mean by the way, this is what the forums are for) i was just interested to hear your explination , i wasn't saying it wasn't true.

also about there being 2 pryramid heads at the end because of 2 murders is interesting , and i think that's what it was supposed to mean , (it was the only time you see them after you kill eddie)

well pyramid head could also reptresent mary and eddie , ...his 2 murders ..........or it could just represent james's guilt , not actually james himself

1 last thing about the ph boss , is that when you walk in the room , you can see the whole room and there are only 2 of them, both on the ledge with maria. (ok i won't mention it again)

the reason i respond to alot of these things is that my ps2 it connected to my vcr and i have recorded all of the cut scenes from silent hill 2 , and i watch them all the time so i can remeber alot of things about them, or if i can't remeber i watch the tape again.

it says that the movies are offline ,wonder what that means thanks anyway
