	Log in to remove this advertisement Hi there Is there any fix for the GBA screen. It is an absolute disaster - it is so dark I cannot see a thing. Is there any way to brighten the screen. I bought a magnifier with lights but this really is not sufficient. It is a great system but it is not much good if you can't see the thing!! I have searched message boards and do not find this to be a topic of conversation for which I am surprised - maybe my settings (what settings??) are incorrect! Please help.

	That I know of there isn't anything that will brighten up your screen. I do wish that they had installed a contrast and or brightness button on this version, but they didn't. Depending on how long you have had your GBA you might want to consider trying to exchange it for another one. I don't have many problems with my GBA brightness. I do sometimes have to use a light, but not very often. ------------------- The General forum is calling you!!

	There is a secret contrast on the back of GBA. Just pull the gray sticker off and there is a little tiny hole that is the contrast. I would not mess with it though it might ruin your GBA. I herd this from someone in the other forum.

	Thier is a was to make you gba brighter but like cooldude12 said it might ruin your gba. So dont take the risk to do it. -------------------

	To Kopakas Blade You say that your screen is relatively bright - how bright is bright though is the question? I can't see a thing without the magnifier light.

	I don't have any issues playing the game during the day light, and during the night, by little light works well. I can see everything there is on the screen. The only issue I have with the lights is that they cause a bit of a glare. quote For you guys that are reading this, please do not adjust that knob thingy behind your sticker located at the back of your gba system, it may increase your contrast or brightness, but it also increases the static charges from your batteries to your screen (which in turn, destroys your delicate screen). I read at a gba website that posted a feature explaining that IGN posted in one of there features this process, and it really messed up some peoples gba systems. So, if you are reading this right now, it is for your own good (and your gba system) to adjust the knob thingy to it's original state or your system might be permanently messed up. If you feel that I am wrong or whatever, go ahead and change the contrast control, but your system isn't meant to handle that kind static, and it might just fail out on you. 	Yea well I know I don't belong here because I don't have any issues with bright ness my peice of advice too dark go under a light too bright go into a shadowy place!

	Hmm was it supposed to be that way because when I first played golden sun and went into a cave it got picth dark and then I thought it was my game and it had an error but nope! It was made that way!
