Do you play your GBA in public? - Page 6

im always playing my GBA with my friends. i play 2 player Golden Sun, Kirby, Zelda 4 swords. i always win at Golden Sun battles though.

lol, they and stuff like 'em are a beacon for attention. People are drawn to you wanting to play it. I tend to hide it if i am in big crowds.

My sub today played gameboy advance sp during our test and he was playing Castlevania Circle of the moon...Well thats like the first teacher who I saw playing gba in front of every one. I was suprised that it was an sp too...

I have that same problem. I like to bring mine with me places so i can show it off like school but i sometimes never even turn it on. I love it when people pull out their GBA's and think they're cool and then you wip out your Platnium GBA SP and put them in awe. I played this one kid at Advance wars and man he sucked. All i had to do is put an APC out for bait in FOW and he comes attacking and their is a line of rockets waiting. Advance Wars is my favorite.

I carry my GBA SP everywhere in my purse because you'll never know when you'll need it. I sometimes play it in school (when I'm done everything), doctor's offices, before a movie... at school I let some guys play my GBA SP, but I keep an eye on it so they wouldn't 'accidently' take it. I think some people strike it as odd to see a girl whip a handheld out of her purse instead of a credit card...

Of course I play it in public. It's not like people will make fun of you or anything.

Me: (Playing a Game)
Friend: What are you doing?
Me: Playing a game.
Friend: Ha ha! You're playing a game!!

Now how many friends that you know would ever do that to you?

i will have to say that the sp attracts alot of people, i try to play it descretly

I'd have to say the same here. I only play it in public when I have to, though. One time I walked in mall, playing it, and I ran into someone! And people always look at me funny because I guess they think videogames aren't something girls should do. I tend to play it in public when I'm bored or the game I'm playing is great! I only bring mine to school when I've promised a friend I'd let them play, otherwise, it's at home.
