alternative Puscifer

Puscifer is another side project by Maynard James Keenan, the lead vocalist of Tool/A Perfect Circle. This is a project of the Industrial/Lounge/Alternative Rock genre. Featuring collaborations with many vocalists as well as Renholder Danny Lohner who produced several mixes on APC albums. So far only 2 songs have been produced under the Puscifer name for the Underworld movies' and Saw II soundtracks. Their first album is set to release in October titled V Is for Vagina.

God I love Rev 22:20, Danny Lohner does a kick ass job at the audio engineering end, every remix I've heard of his is gold. In fact, I bought the sound track of Underworld just because he produced it and came up with a few songs on it.

From what I've heard, Maynard + Keenan won't let down, although the approach to everything is odd at least. Check out the website for good laughs and clothes.

Yep, I've loved both APC and Tool and after hearing the puscifer tracks a while ago I've definately got to buy the album - even if it's just for the title.

This stuff sounds awesome. I'm definitely checking out the album.

I like, but he doesn't really seem to be doing much vocal wise.

Edit: Queen B is the single, it's on the puscifer website. Can't say I'm too much in love with it so far, was hoping for more of a "Bring me the Disco King" or "Rev 22:20" feel to it.
