The "Sadness" of Korean music videos (and songs)

One thing that I notice in Korean music is that there are A LOT of sad sad sad music videos. True tear-jerkers they be...

The song title translated would read "For your next love." It's a story about this guy who's girl left him with just a letter. She sends her friend to deliver the message to him. What he doesn't realize is that the reason why she left is that she's dying...

Sorry I'm getting a little bit off topic here but I just wanted to say how much I hate the Korean record labels because of the way they act etc.... I mean, there would still be so many good kpop bands around if only the industry would allow older singers. Take SM for example, they hire some of the biggest names in the Kpop industry, but the thing that I don't really like about them is the fact that they only look for young talent like people 16-20, pretty much when your like 23 or something like that they start to break away. This is kind of what happened to the group H.O.T. and sadly soon to happen to Baby V.O.X.
There are so many groups that I would love to see still around but the freakin industry just f***** them up.
