I'm not one for 80s music like shown above, but I know that Pour Some Sugar on Me is the worst song ever created.

not bad for VH1's standards suppose. Guess they could have had more classical/jazz/metal/rap songs though.

I actually watched the marathon for 5 hours last Thursday and I was disappointed at the lack of heavy metal music, but then again not many metal fans go to VH1 for anything

Squeeze at #82 is sacrilege. "Tempted" is one of the best songs of the past 50 years, let alone in the 80s.

No Iron Maiden = Not cool.
GNR Twice on the list = Cool. I think I've seen that list on 'The Hits' before though, although it might have been a different one. ------------------- ![]() EXCLUSIVELY on Playstation 3!

Where the hell is The Safety Dance? That's easily the best shitty 80's song, they can't even put together a bad list properly.

Their rap consists of Beastie Boys, Salt N Pepa, Rob Base, Tone Loc and Young MC. That is so *bleep*in shitty, not having any Rakim, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane is totally unacceptable. Not to mention The Symphony Vol 1 by the Juice Crew is widely regarded as one of the best rap songs ever and didn't make it.
Also I MOTHER EARTH, I agree Safety Dance was the best shitty 80s song.

The 80's was about big hair, synthesizers and bad pop music. Does anybody really expect a list made by the mainstream on a mainstream music channel to really incorporate the truly best songs of the 80's?
ANd yeah, Safety Dance got snubbed. ------------------- "A great book should leave you with many experiences, and slightly exhausted. You should live several lives while reading it." -- William Stryon Books and Literature Forum
