UK tour goes on sale on Friday! I've been waiting for so long for this so I'll definitely be at the Birmingham show which closes the tour, even if it is a rather expensive £30 (probably £35 including booking fees). And I'm going to the Within Temptation show 4-5 days before so that will be a great week.

Haha, yeah, the Birmingham date is awkward for me as it's a Sunday, so I won't be able to get a train or bus back home as they don't run that late (and the buses have been cancelled that late in the week due to cuts anyway) so I don't know how I'll manage it, but I'm going anyway. I'll figure out the rest when I'm there!

I've still not heard any of the new songs yet as the MTV site won't work on the videos for me, but I'm looking forward to the album for sure. I hope they'll play some of the stuff from Origin as well, although I know they don't usually. But to hear things like Anywhere, Away From Me, Even In Death, Field Of Innocence, Where Will You Go, and so on, would be incredible!

Yeah, Origin is by far and away my favourite album lyrically. The choruses of Anywhere, Away From Me, Field Of Innocence, etc, are among their best I think. Anyway, I've booked my ticket for Birmingham (through Ticketweb was £5 cheaper than Seetickets were offering - no surprise there) so that will be cool, especially after Within Temptation 4 nights before!

Yeah, I'd agree with Fallen being their strongest overall album, and Origin being the best lyrically, and it seems the most honest, as you see. It's just open, and warm, and it feels like they were just letting things out from inside without having to think about them, which was great. All 3 albums are very good though. And yeah, I normally find that Seetickets are a *bleep*ing disgrace when it comes to booking fees, and so I try and look around at 2 or 3 different sites when I can. Ticketweb is normally cheapest, but it depends. Ah well, got the ticket as you say which is the main thing. Hopefully it'll be good as I missed out last time, all those years back!

EEEEEEEEE didn't expect to hear it for a few hours yet; I LOVE IT Quite different but it's still very 'them' so a hugely promising start to the album! Intense yet still really catchy too; that replay button's gonna be getting a whole lot of attention from me, sooo pleased, satisfied, excited, bravo Evanescence

Gah, all of the Youtube vids for it are getting removed...oh maybe not all, found one There's certainly a lot of them getting put up.

What's even worse is that What You Want has been released worldwide on itunes, everywhere except the UK and Ireland Nobody seems to know why but we appear to randomly have a late (and unconfirmed) release date so I can't get it from there either...typical

But I'm still loving the track!

Woo, finally I won't be double posting! 'What You Want' is by far my most played track of the year; I adore it. Little bit disappointed about the seeming lack of promotion it's had, especially the music video still not being out (though it doesn't look like it'll be much longer now) but I love it!

In listening to some vids on Youtube of them playing a couple of shows in August, Evanescence are sounding fantastic and the three new tracks they played in addition to What You Want all sound brilliant in my opinion, 'The Other Side' in particular; so I cannot wait to hear the full album in just over a months time!
