Malakian just doesn't have quite the same genius and maturity that Tankian has. Tankian is just brilliant though. Um, you realise that Daron wrote every song off the self-titled album and is accredited for majority of the songs on Toxicity? 	Daron's good with the music, Serj is good with the vocals. It wasn't too bad to see Daron come in some on the newer albums, but old stuff was way better. Self Titled was the best, I think. The most fun and just straight up gnarly. I dig Daron's tone on most songs on all the albums they've put out though. 	I love SOAD. They're one of my all time favorite bands. I miss them though...I wish they'd go on tour again.....although I'm pretty sure the band split because of Serj's solo project. I'm Armenian myself and have tried to learn, and am still trying. It's really hard to learn. But personally, I don't have a problem pronouncing the words...then again I grew up hearing it and somewhat speaking it. ^^; I love their message. With trying to spread awareness about that horrible Armenian genocide... By the way. Has anyone here ever seen their documentary Screamers? It's about the genocide... ------------------- <3

It's say the newer stuff is good, but in a completely different way. The older stuff is just more erratic and fun. Self Titled is the heaviest, but also has the most humor/style too it, I think. Toxicity is just a nice consistency of everything they have too offer, and the new stuff is just more modern mainstream style stuff, but still with a lot of the touch that makes SOAD unique. 	As much as I liked Mezmerize, it's between Self Titled and Toxicity, as everyone else said. After comparing favs from each album, I'm going with ST.

	System of a down is probably one of the most popular political bands that have been around, next to Rage gainst the Machine. They are going to be reuniting after two side projects(Scars on Broadway and Serj Tankian's Solo Album). But I think that too keep up with the faster growing pop punk stuff they will have to get a little less violent and more technical and free flowing, as much as I hate to say it. ------------------- I'm not afraid to die.
