	Log in to remove this sponsored message Morning Musume is a Japanese all girl pop group and the core group under the more expansive Hello! Project (H!P for short). Formed in 1997 when the producer of the band, Tsunku, challenged the 5 losers of a TV pop competition (similar to Pop/American Idol) to sell 50,000 copies of their demo single "Ai no Tane" in 4 days. They won and the reward was to be fully produced as their own act by producer Tsunku. In a year, their popularity had surpassed the winner of the original competition (Michiyo Heike); in three they had surpassed the popularity of Sharan Q who broke up to become full time producers. The reach of MM and H!P extends to music, TV, radio, film, modeling, commercials, their own PS2 games, and their own indoor futsal team. The members of Morning Musume are constantly changing. Every year, auditions are held to add new members. Morning Musume's current size is 9 members, none of which are the original 5 or the 2 generations that followed. 	Holy bleep these chicks are weird. I just downloaded "Say Yeah" on Limewire and it is f'n off the wall with randomness. Plus, the beats are like "WTF". This music could drive a person insane. ------------------- VESTS! VESTS! I GOT VESTS!

	Pop being a genre I don't normally listen to, I was pleasantly surprised when this band was forced onto me... It's so upbeat, it just forces you into a good mood. It does sound pretty strange, but I quite like it. ------------------- _last.fm

	Yeah, Morning Musume is strangely good. Though it has been quite awhile since I have listened to them. 	Any large group of people who can manage to sound good is an Instant Win in my books. Most groups sound the same when they sing together. 	Ai Kago was in one of Morning Musume's Generations, but Morning Musume is a band from Hello!Project, as well as W, Goto Maki, Aya Matsuura etc etc It would be cooler if we could have a general Hello!Project thread though ._.

And that's only a Compilation album of those MM sub-groups Puchimoni, Tanpopo, Mini Moni and Nakazawa Yuko, so it's not an "official" MM album. Ehh ------------------- \| GACKT \|

	Way to twist my arm >__>! Roz, you are completely missing out on an amazing group, I'm lucky enough to own all of theres (and W's) albums thanks to a friend, and I've been completely hooked! Hello!Project's groups own every other Jpop singer/band out there as far as I'm concerned, its perfect pop ^^!

	As in Albums or Single songs? Hmm, for albums I would say go for either there latest, SEXY 8 BEAT, or an older album like 4th Ikimasshoi! Personally, I'm not such a huge fan as some of there older albums, as they seem to have a lot of 'filler' tracks and the newer ones are much more upbeat and happy. But everyones different, and the first three albums do have a lot of great tracks, but some of them aren't as good as others. For single songs, theres so many, EGAO YES NUDE, The Manpower!!! Re'Nai Revolution 21, The Peace!, Go Girl! Koi No Victory (One of the best songs, EVERARR!!13), Souda! We're Alive!, Koi No Dance Site, Happy Summer Wedding, SAY YEAH! Motto Miracle Night (Theres like 3 versions of this song all done by different MM members xD)... And that's just off the top of my head xP
