This electro-alt rock collaboration between longtime friends Paul Meany (vocals/keys), Darren King (drums), Greg Hill (guitar), and Roy Mitchell-Cardenas (bass) has crept up on the music scene with force thanks to the 04 release of their "Reset" EP (Teleprompt/Warner Bros.), the onslaught of a worldwide fan-base driven to their website, and this years nearly sold-out nationwide Spring tour. The four piece (originating from New Orleans) has scattered influences that are apparent without being obvious, and touch on everything from DJ Shadow styled beats, moments of beauty and grandeur a la Bjork, and vocals that pay legitimate homage to Police-era Sting. When asked about this vast expanse of musical territory that we are asked to find them dwelling within, Meany replied, "I blame it on the past forty years of music." They act on the idea that their magic is to be found in the mixture of countless thoughts. Their live show thrives on this random energy too involving homemade instruments, live sampling, a junked-out keytar, and enough dizzying energy to make the hardest cynics wet their pants. So, bring an extra pair if you have to, but don't miss them this Winter as they kick off the "The Album Release Tour 2006", their debut album will be made available exclusively at shows in over 50 touring cities, with special guests Veda. 	I downloaded the song that was for free on the link you posted, and I have mixed feelings about it. They've kind of got a Phil Collins/Police like vocals, with energetic and poppy instrumentation. 	These guys are pretty good, though I've only heard three or four of their songs. I'll be checking out more of them tomorrow when I have more free time. As a cool side note, my youth minister (the same one that loves Donnie Darko) likes these guys too. Pretty cool. -------------------

	Pretty good?! These guys are amazing live. They hit everything exactly. Plus, the songs are unbelievable. Chaos is such a good song, so is control and ok. I can't wait for their album this year. -------------------

	Alright, so OK is easily one of the best songs I've ever heard. I just went to their last.fm page and found out it's their eighteenth most popular song. At first I was disheartened, but now I'm just excited to think that people think they have seventeen songs that are better than that one. OK was the only song I listened to for a long time, but I've just started branching out a little bit to songs like Typical and Chaos and I'm really liking what I hear. ------------------- quote Aerotrunks When you realize you no longer need Neoseeker, you will leave as well.

	Just picked up their Armistice album yesterday for six bucks. Electrify, Burden, and The Nerve are some pretty awesome tracks off of it. Been hearing they're working on a third album as well.
