Of Montreal

I've heard of them (comparisons to The Unicorns), but I've never bothered to check anything out. I'll try the songs you heard. ^^

I first heard 'Wraith Pinned to The Mist and Other Games' and thought it was amazing. But it wasn't until recently I got all of their albums. The earlier stuff is pretty boring, doesn't interest me. But there are some excellent songs which are more recent, such as The Past Is a Grotesque Animal, Oslo In The Summertime, Bunny Aint No Kind Of Rider, Rapture Rapes The Muses, and October is Eternal.

Those are damn good songs.

Jealous. I love these guys a ton lately. Of Montreal on Pandora nonstop. My family hates it.

What's their in between songs on-stage banter like?

Man, I still can't get into this stuff. I live in Athens, I hear 'em all the time, I like experimental and catchy music, and I like stage theatrics and concept albums. Something about of Montreal just can never really get my attention. :/

A little out of step with these guys (and I suppose new releases in general). Haven't listened to anything since Skeletal Lamping which I sort of hated. There are still a few things I crank out every now and then, like 'Old Familiar Way' and 'Nickee Coco' and 'Disconnect The Dots,' all among my favorites.
