	Log in to remove this sponsored message Agaetis Byrjun, ( ) and Takk are all really good, it probably wouldn't matter which of those you check out first, most people (and critics) seem to like Agaetis Byrjun a little bit more. Their first album, Von is pretty different, it's darker and not as energetic, I would stay away from that for now as a starting point. -------------------

	I'm eager to get hold of their other albums, I might try and see what a couple of tracks from Von sound like after hearing that description, as I've always thought of Sigur Ros as one of the prettier and more upbeat of the post rock bands I listen to, so it'd be interesting to see them with a darker edge. I've been listening to () whilst doing some revision and I swear its perfect revision music for me. I hate sitting in silence so its nice to have some background music thats not too obtrusive (so largely foreign or instrumental instantly work well) but at the same time its really good for thinking to, rather than getting distracted by it. -------------------

	I'm a very big fan of Svefn-g-Englar off of "Agaetis Byrjun". I like the pace, it builds into a swelling wall of sound for ten minutes. Has anyone seen the "Hopipolla" music video? That's the happiest thing I've ever seen in my life...

	I saw these guys live at the Manchester Apollo a few weeks ago and they were amazing. They are a very visual band with lots of cool effects going on. It's all very impressive. May well be the best gig I ever went to! -------------------

	Heh, I have the same problem, its especially annoying as I'm really fastidious when it comes to my CDs, they are in chronological per band order, and then the bands are sorted into genre order, so Takk has messed up my post rock section of CDs. My god I'm sad. Anyways, been listening to () a lot lately and I think I prefer it to Takk, it seems a lot more chilled out to me, some of the tracks on Takk seem comparitively "busy" for want of a better word. () just seems to be a bit slower paced and relaxing. -------------------

	I used to have a problem with fitting unusual sized CD cases into my CD rack, but then I just got the kind with adjustable shelves, they don't have slots and they will hold anything (including DVD's and Games). -------------------

	Any guitarists out there know how Jonsi does the bow thing? 	Amazing band with some amazing songs. Although im not always in the mood to listen to them, they really set the tone when you do. My fav song is probably Starálful.

	After meaning to get it for about a year, I finally got the album Takk. I really like it, especially the song Hoppípolla and Milano. But I found that it just made me listen to Ágætis Byrjun more, which has been climbing up the standings in my favortie albums list over the past few months.
