re: Trivium

They should get into the studio. >.<

Do you think Trivium songs would sound better if Heafy just sang and didn't scream?

re: Trivium

I don't mind a little bit of screaming, but I feel Heafy screams a little too much for my liking. I would like Trivium alot more if more of the vocals were clean.

re: Trivium

The trouble is finding an equally good guitarist.

re: Trivium

Matts very talented I'd say. Wasn't he only 16 or 17 when they released Ember To Inferno?

He was 17 at that time, I believe.

re: Trivium

I really like Matt Heafy in The End (Roadrunner United).

Didn't he win an award for playing guitar when he was 16?

re: Trivium

Yes, he won the Best Metal Guitarist award in Orlando at that age. I'm not exactly sure who he was awarded it by, however. It might've just been a local thing, but I don't know.

re: Trivium

Still, he's a very impressive guitarist for his age. Wonder if we'll see noticable improvement for the next albums.

re: Trivium

The new CD should be really good. IMO Trivium gets better every CD.

re: Trivium

I'm going to see Trivium in December, they are a guest band touring with Iron Maiden on their European tour.

Can't wait.

A couple of months ago I read extensive interview in "Metal Hammer" and they talked about their new album coming out late summer. (I think) It sounded pretty promising. Even more technical and solo driven, more 80's thrash feel, AND 8 minute instrumental.

Yeah I read some news on Blabber Mouth about 2 or 3 weeks ago with the track listing already revealed but I can't remember it.

re: Trivium

Thrash? Cool. It'd be nice to see Trivium play thrash. And the instrumental should be sweet.

re: Trivium

I heard a Trivium song on the radio the other day and it sounded pretty Thrash. Anyway, it was pretty damn good. I wasn't crazy about the screaming, I think they could do a lot better without that stuff. But when they sang clean the song was needless to say just KICK ASS.

Well all my life this music saved me, I can't afford no therapy. My frustration, it needs release, so cut me open and hear me bleed. Playing punk, keeps me sane, I don't need drugs to numb the pain.
