Trivium is indeed sweet, my friend owns Ember to Infero, i have it burned, kickass cd. And yeah the new cd came out today, who knows, maybe i'll even pick up both LP's.

Wow, I was actually going to make a thread for this band last night but decided that I didn't have the time. Trivium is indeed talented. Two years ago, when Ember to Inferno came out, everyone in the band, including the singer, was sixteen except one person who was 18. The musicians in this band are all extremely talented for such a tender age. They're really the only outstanding existing metalcore band beside As I Lay Dying who is also pretty good.

BY FAR, WITHOUT ANY COMPETITION, THE BEST metalcore band I've heard. For just about every shitty genre, there's at least one good band, and this is it for metalcore. Some of my favorites: Like Light To The Flies, Requiem, Fugue, If I Could Collapse The Masses, Ember To Inferno.

All I now is that 'Asendency' sounds like it's gonna be one of the best albums this year, which is saying something since 'Mudvayne', 'Slayer', 'AC/DC', and 'Judas Priest' are rumored/do have new cd's out this year. I may have only heard 'Like Light to Flies', 'Gunshot to whatever', and 'Rain' but they all sound friggn' sweat. Matt Hildey (er, something like that. I know I got it wrong but I can't remember anything) is one of the best guitarist I'v head in a song time-and he's also the lead singer.

HOLY SHIT!!! Look at the picture on the top of the thread. The vocalist is wearing a Darkthrone shirt! Of all bands, I didn't expect this from Trivium...

The overcoat he's wearing really doesn't suit the whole "satanic kvlt black metal" thing though...

I think i might pick up both cd's..oh yeah and if you want to hear a few more songs, go with, Pillars Of Serphants, If I Could Collapse The Masses and Fugue.

Trivium is quickly becoming one of my favourite bands.......next time i get some money im buyin ascendancy for sure, on the E-card every song is so good!
