That was a great thing about the band, they could transfer the same talent they had for making funny and/or uplifting songs to sad songs easily.

And it shows as both types of songs are now remembered by everyone, e.g. All the Small Things and Adam's Song

Tom has a 3 to 5 year plan for AVA, and Mark and Travis have said they'd love to do a second album with +44. Mark and Tom haven't spoken since the break up, and Travis is extremely bitter, so don't expect a reunion

After listening to the +44 album on their myspace, I can say that I am gonna actually buy the album just because I like most of the songs, and I'm enthusiastic about future albums by them. I think it would've been better with Carol but they still show promise.

I don't know where Tom is going with AVA.. I like more of the +44 songs than I do AVA songs, but with only one album out for each of the bands it's hard to tell which I like better.

I don't think that Blink 182 will get back together.. I'm just happy that all of the involved members are still pursuing their musical careers, because I've always been a huge fan of all of them. Blink 182 was making music for what, 13 years?

mark said that he and travis could tour as blink, but he said it wouldn't be fair to the fans (like how tom plays parts of down and other blink songs during AVA shows), since blink always was (for the most part) mark tom and travis, the three amigos. without one of them, it wouldn't be the same. with scott it was different. he was just kinda a loner who was just there to supply beats. those three had a charisma that no other band has brought to the genre for a long time.

Hmmm, Blink is my favorite band. ^-^ My favorite songs would be Mutt, All The Small Things and Adam's Song. =DD

Yeah, supposedly called "One for the Kids" but the AVA manager came out and shot the rumours down.

I think it'll be a good 5 years or so before they reunite, once they're all bored with their projects

Man, Blink 182 is one of my favorite bands of all time. They were probably the first band that got me into punk rock. Its pretty sad since i don't think they'd get back together.

Enema of the State was the best Blink 182 album. So they aren't that fond of each other anymore, I guess another side project of Tom and Travis, Box Car Racer won't be getting together too.
