There's very little (if any) avant-garde in this band. The sort of things they deliver is more what you'd expect from a progressive metal band (and then some). Avant-garde has all these weird noises and shit, which I haven't heard any of from this band. 	Might have trace amounts of and influences from avant garde and some moments reminded me of Unexpect, but at its core, Colors feels like a progressive metal album. Not like Dream Theater or Atheist, but more like Opeth and The Human Abstract (to a certain degree with the latter). 	On May 31, The group went into the studio to record their fifth original album "The Great Misdirect." They have described one song as a "noisy Coalesce breakdown, 3/4 Mastodon groove, 9/8 The Mars Volta, Queen chromatic build up, and Megadeth chorus". Tommy Rogers has stated they plan to 'out do Colors'. "The Great Misdirect" is scheduled for release on October 27. This sounds pretty interesting. 	Chances are if it's like "Colors" then the whole album is just one long song split into parts. I imagine this will be the same thing with less parts.

	I'm really anticipating this album. I actually think they can surpass the greateness of Colors. There's just so much talent in the band.
