You act like all of us in here defending commercial music listen to nothing but commercial music, but I'd put almost any amount of money on saying that any one of us in here knows more about underground music than you do. You seem to have a hard-on for underground rap and completely discredit any other form of music, which is about as close-minded as you can possibly get. Music is such an incredible, versatile, and dynamic form of art, why limit yourself?

Also, I've never actually seen somebody say that Jay-Z was terrible, let alone claim that he had horrible lyrics. I remember back in the day when the elitist Open Mic kids visited this forum, even most all of them worshiped Jay-Z. Hell, it's rare to find anybody who doesn't put him up for a candidate as best rapper of all time.

Once again you are comparing computer games to music. Music is an art but completely diffferent. One is Visual one is Audio. I know audio plays a big part in games but they are mainly visual. Would you rather play a game with no graphics or no sound? Music can be watered down with money and targeted for an audience. mass appeal.

Plus Zelda OOT is considered an artistic masterpiece. But even though it was commercial it's a game, nothing to do with music. With underground music it sounds more raw and uncut cmpared to the tackiness of commercial.

OCarina of time and MM were one of the most original games I have ever played. The fact that I was 10 and 11 might play a part but who gives a shit?



Don't try and tell me about music. I listen to a nice range and if it doesn't have that commercial sound and is indepedant I can usualy appreciate it. I listen to Extreme Metal, Hip Hop, Drum and Bass as my favourites. I doubt you know more underground hip hop than I do, but whatever saying you know more about music doesn't really bother me because I listen to it and that's all that matters.


Best rapper of all time? shit son, send me some of that boom you tokin must be some dope shit. His earlier 90's stuff had BETTER lyrics and flows than today but still was poor in my opinion. Better than when he went commericial.

I hate commercial music because it is commercial, and like underground because it has talent and energy with raw sounds not because it is underground. Commercial music has that watered down sound to it. It's made for the sole purpose of making money and has no soul whatsoever.
