Do you guys even know what Hardcore is or are you just using the term? Not so much you Mega, I mean you have Hatebreed mentioned in there which is really the only hardcore band you mentioned yet they are kinda fading from the Hardcore scene since they arent releasing anything lately and play the same boring ass songs at every show now...

And for the one who posted before you, N64 something.... I didnt see mention of anything of hardcore bands from you. The term hardcore and style of music gets thrown around too much. I hate when people call a bunch of crap bands hardcore when they never seen a hardcore band. I could go on with how hardcore started in the 80's with such bands as WARZONE and AGNOSTIC FRONT but I'd just be wasting my time because most of you still wont get the point.

But now a days, hardcore has developed into, metal-core, emo-core, screamo, melodic hardcore and so on. There are very few bands who still play old school hardcore but to call all thes eothers bands hardcore gives the real bands a bad name! Especially when the MTV morons call Limp Bizkit, Korn,Linkin Park and all those other crap bands hardcore! They are not hardcore, not close and never will be hardcore! Please learn more about the genra of Hardcore! Look it up, you will learn a thing or two!

Sorry if this offended anyone but I always see people use the term of hardcore the absolute wrong way these days!

Well, I think YOU misunderstood me. From YOUR post it seems like you're talking about "hardcore" as a specific genre of metal. When I say "hardcore" I mean kick-ass super heavy awesome. Death metal is the heaviest heavy metal there is (I know Rage isn't death metal, but they're way kick-ass awesome just the same, at least some of their songs). I just now listened to 2 of Agnostic Front's songs from their latest album and, oh my, that is some light light rock!!! If that stuff is in a "genre" of metal called hardcore, well I don't know why they named it that, because that music is not super heavy or crunchingly kick-ass. I do know that all the bands I mentioned (I like more bands, but didn't mention 'em all)are super kick-ass, tough, awesome which is my definition of "hardcore". But.... Slayer I consider to be light rock compared to stuff like Cannibal Corpse, etc. Although I do also agree that Limp Bizkit, and Korn and the like are NOT hard or even any good, I consider them to be light rock also.
Oh, and no offense, seriously.

Dont worry, I didnt mis-understand you at all. When I said the thing about Agnostic Front, I believe I said "Old School" with them. In other words, they began the "Hardcore Genre". Since then, Hardcore has expanded alot. That is why bands like Agnostic Front and Warzone are now called Old School because Hardcore has developed into many things like Screamo, melodic, metal and so on. Dont get me wrong, Canibal Corpse is some heavy shit but you arent getting my point... I wasnt exactly sending that message just to you but to so many others who mis-use the word in general, calling Korn, Nirvana, Limp Bizkit and all them hardcore. You have a pretty good sense of "hardcore: but what you are going on about is more hard metal. But if you want to hear some heavy stuff check out Converge and Shadows Fall. They are pretty heavy but have more of a melodic blend compared to Canibal Corpse. I think you might like them. Sorry if you thought I was mostly directing that whole schpeel towards you, you seem to have alittle knowledge of "hardcore"... Well, old school anyway...
