indie That one redeeming song

Nearly everyone has this one band or artist that has released an album that is generally disliked by its fanbase... or that you personally disliked, even. You didn't like the direction of the album, or its new sound, or how it's been more of the same, or whatever else you can think of. That said, in all those albums there's at least one shining light in the form of... the one song you can tolerate from the album, that you may even love. The track can have its place on your iPod, but you still have less than desirable feelings from the album it came from. This thread is about those songs, list which ones come by your mind.

For me, for Kanye's 808s & Heartbreak, the one song I used to still bump is Amazing, and See You in My Nightmares. I didn't bother with the rest of the album. For T.I.'s No Mercy which I wasn't really won over with, I still like the track Castle Walls. When it comes to Mos Def, it seems the only song I can bump out of The Ecstatic these days is Life in Marvelous Times and Priority. For most of Lupe Fiasco's fanbase, they'll concur that for his Lasers album, All Black Everything stands out. Now how bout you?

^ This. Not many people, admittingly anyway, like Creed. Neither do I. I generally hate the music, and I hate Scott Stapp's voice. Hell, Dave Grohl has a video up where he just mimics his voice (which is awesome, check it out if you haven't seen it). When they criticized Pearl Jam, that's when I hated them even more. But, I've always had a soft spot for this song. I like it, regardless of what people say.

I'm not really a fan of Coheed's Year of the Black Rainbow. The production is really poor in comparison to their other releases. I think the idea of it was to make it sound like it was in space, but it just brushed me up the wrong way. However, Far, Pearl of the Stars and The Black Rainbow are all really really great songs, songs I'd never skip from their discography.

Also the only song I liked from the album. Don't even know why, it's really repetitive but still very enjoyable.

I like Porcupine Tree. :3 I don't listen to 'em a whole lot, but the music is good. I can't say anything bad about it. I just never got hugely into them. I do listen to them from time-to-time though. There's rarely a progressive band that I dislike.

GregtheGreat, the only Yellowcard stuff I know is from that album.

The album title track is actually very good I reckon. I don't know the whole album but 4 or 5 songs were quite good.
