Blawan drops some fcking good vibes, I am a fan of the electronic genre as a whole but some artists do disappoint and some of the "sub" genres are generally just shit, this however is not! He drops fresh sounds and pulls together some good music, the vocal sample in getting me down is beaut. I could imagine a night out listening to his stuff but I can't lie and say I don't prefer this side of electronica more:

I can't get away with BATS the vocals don't do it for me at all so unfortunately that was something I couldn't get into.

Similar genre to the Tale of Us track, when I first heard them both it took me a few weeks to take a break from constantly playing them.

Back on topic somewhat, I'm looking forward to seeing what artist we're graced with next week~ hopefully nothing with screaming vocals ha.

i listened to this band quite a bit since they were posted, but i never got around to actually posting somehow. i have no experience with this genre, so it was completely new to me. the first thing i noticed was how full the tracks sound, even though the riffs are comprised entirely of single note riffs most of the time, and how all the instruments just seem to be doing their own stuff sometimes but it always worked and sounded together. i thought that was neat

i liked the vocalist. he sounds different than other singers, and has a very recognizable voice. i can see why others might not like him too much, and i don't know if he fits the genre well (again, i now jack shit about it), but it seemed fine to me.

the only problem i did have was that their style overall doesn't seem to have a lot of lasting power for me. initially, i thought the sound was really awesome. after a couple spins, however, it felt like it was a bit much listening them for a longer period of time. it might be because they don't change the mood of their tracks much, and it's a bit too much of the same high energy songs.

for any non nerdy metal fans- municipal waste they are a great crossover thrash party band

I've only just got round to checking Blawan; yes, I'm just that slow sometimes. Shattered Silence, didn't know you were into that sort of electronic music - sort of runs along the same vibes as the music on the record label I run. Was massively feeling the production quality on Fram. Getting Me Down was a massive spin out for me because I'm not sure if I've listened to Blawan before (I don't think I have) and I've either heard the song out in a club in London recently or I've heard another artist grab the same sample - either way, the sample is huge.



Just a lil' something from the label that from the looks of things, something Shattered Silence, judaspriest Vulcan Raven may take a fancy too.

Nothing like a bit of self promotion, pretty cool track~ wasn't anything too special but it's chill.
