progressive Rx Bandits

I must say, I quite liked the recommendations there eric. I will enjoy listening through their material.

EricF, you've beaten me to it, and you were quite correct to assume I would dig these guys. I was actually planning on making this thread when I had some time out of the holidays, but I'm glad it was done anyway. Part of the reason I recommended Everlasting Beacon of Light by Zechs Marquise in the Song of the Year '11 thread was because Matt Embree did the vocals. I really appreciate this band, and adore them in a way. I love how they produce everything live in few takes and only add harmonies onto it through horns or keys.

I started off with Mandala because that was the only record I could find at the store, and I was introduced to the band through It's Only Another Parsec... and it ended up defining my summer. I managed to get my hands on The Resignation in September and found my bus rides lined with numbers and slithers up until the end of November when I finally sank my teeth into ...And the Battle Begun. The title track itself blew me away 9 months prior, but that album I think had a positive outcome for the season.

I may prefer their later content since I'm not much for ska like their original roots, but from what I've listened to in regards to Progress and prior, it is quite good.

I've loved this band for close to 10 years.

They're pretty great, but not a good choice for people who aren't into Ska.

Nah, I haven't got around to it yet. It's a while since I've listened to these guys but I'll try get around to it soon.

As of now, I only know ...And the Battle Begun and Mandala.
