I doubt Claudio and co. would let them turn his creation into a shitty movie. Not gonna lie, as awesome as a live-action is, I was hoping for a CGI film. Much harder to screw up CGI, and a lot less work as well, which would result in a faster release.

I'd imagine it would be easier, haha. I don't know. I'm far from a movie expert. I rarely watch movies, seriously. I'd imagine it'd be easier in the long run though; no worrying about finding places to shoot, a set, not having to worry about make-up or costumes. Although, I'm very curious to see how the Wilhelm Ryan costume is going to turn out. <3

I don't think it would be just SSTB. It's meant to be The Amory Wars story as a whole so it would be odd to only do one chapter of that. It'll be interesting to see if they incorporate things like The Writer though, and if they include the YOTBR storyline, or if they just go on the graphic novels. Hopefully Claudio can get the Good Apollo graphic novels released sometime before that, to help them make that part of the same film. I'd love to see some 3 and half hour epic adaptation, but I'll be damned if I can figure out how they'll fit everything in.

Sweet, that's a lot of Coheed to look forward to!

They definitely need more acoustic stuff. Maybe not a whole album, but I'd be happy with about 20% acoustic on the double LP.

Sooo, I'm willing to bet that this countdown has to do with the new album. I'm going to go ahead and guess, judging by Josh's tweet, that the new album is completely done. Or near completion anyway.

Also, someone over at Cobalt and Calcium said that the countdown ends at 9:30 AM (EST) on Monday, July 31st. I'm not sure how true this is, as I can't make heads or tails of the countdown, but I'll keep checking it out, and updating. <3

EDIT: Okay, I let my boner die down, and I deciphered the clock. Well, not really. I just read it on Cobalt. The lower right circle is seconds. The lower left circle is minutes. The top circle is hours. The middle circle is days. Presumably, anyway. If that's true, looks like the countdown will be over on Monday.
