I feel like you would enjoy Blue Scholars, Blu & Exile and Atmosphere. Maybe some of MF Doom's other stuff too, but I think his Dangerdoom work is the best thing he's made.

I actually had 36 Chambers at one point, then sadly computer got whipped clean and lost all the music. So, I just downloaded their greatest hits instead. Love 36 Chambers, one of my favorite albums of all time actually. Maybe I should re-download it... Haha.

But yeah, I actually listened to Atmosphere before I saw your post and definitely digging his flow. The others I've have to check out. MF Doom kills man, like all of his work. DangerDoom just so happens to be my favorite of his work, so I had to get that.

Golden Miru Warrior: Glad you suggested Big L. I actually had one of his albums when I was a bit younger and loved it. Now that you've mentioned him when he escaped my thought, I'm definitely hitting it up. Everything else I will have to check out, besides The Roots and Dead Prez as I've already heard them before. And finally, holy shit. I remember that beat being in 8 Mile and I always wondered "That beat is *bleep*ing killer! What song is it from?" and I was always too damn lazy to search for it. The rapping on it is killer man, thanks for that.

-Check out anything from Asher Roth after his first album. The Seared Foire Gras mixtape is good, and everything since is even better.
-Not sure if you're an Eminem fan or not, but his earlier stuff is definitely great.
-I'm personally a huge Kanye West fan, so I'd say to check out any of his albums besides 808s right away. All of them have somewhat different feels, though.
-Just going to list a few other artists to check out. Some are newer, some are older, some are underground, some are mainstream. I like them all though.

J. Cole, XV, Jedi Mind Tricks, Army of the Pharaohs, Big K.R.I.T., OnCue, Common, Elzhi, Mickey Factz, StartYourOwnRebellion, Talib Kweli.

Oh, and Jay Electronica. For the love of God check out Jay Electronica.

Love the suggestions (Save for a couple like Asher Roth), but not bad as a whole.. You've got quite a load already, so I don't want to stack you to the ceiling.

I particularly like the Big L, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye and Big Boi suggestions.

As for mine...you already have Ready to Die, so why not back that up with Big's Life After Death? IMO both are certified classics, but LAD has a better mix of commercial bangers and gritty street songs, and it's a double album of win. It's one of my favorite albums and the essential Biggie.

Also, no 2Pac anywhere makes me sad. At the very least, arm yourself with Me Against the World. Add All Eyez on Me and you've gotten the best of the best.

Deffffinitely Kendrick Lamar and J.Cole. Then you will be ready for J. Cole's album, and their collab mixtape.

Try some UK stuff if you want something different: Wiley, Wretch 32, Tinie Tempah. Ghostpoet is also pretty cool but different:

If you liked Tyler I'd suggest looking into the rest of OFWGKTA particularly Earl and Frank Ocean.

I'd also suggest you look into Curren$y.

Edit: How the hell did I forget to plug Childish Gambino? Certainly not everyone's cup of tea but my god that guy is witty as hell.

Phew, it's taken me a while to listen to at least one song by each of the artists that you guys have listed that I haven't heard already and here's my review to your suggestions.

Edgefan: Been listening to Wiz since I heard Deal or No Deal. Orange Juice & Kush was on repeat for an entire week when I got around to listening to it. So nice suggestion, although I've heard Wiz plenty. Haha.

Oogs: Wow, heard of Kendrick Lamar, but hadn't even bothered with checking him out and I'm glad you recommended him. Section.80 is nothing but fire. Never been a huge fan of Asher. I guess it would be pretty good party music. Love Eminem, have a couple of his songs on my iTunes (just posted the albums I have that are hip hop) and haven't bothered getting everything from him just yet. Kanye, a lot can be said about the man, but there's no doubt he's talented as *bleep*. The College Dropout was the first thing I heard from him and had to pick it up the first time I could do so. Maybe I need to get that album again. And everything else you mentioned I've heard and either liked or was "meh" about it. Great suggestions though, especially with Kendrick Lamar.

The Haz: I've heard Mos Def before, but ironically enough I never listened to The Ecstatic. Thankfully you recommended it because again along with Oog's suggestion of Kendrick Lamar, the album was pure fire. I never knew Mos Def could spit like he does on this album in all honesty. Always been a fan of DMX, rough voice, rough style, love that kind of voice in any music really. Where if it's an emotional song, you can tell by the person's voice like Slippin'. Now, of course I've heard Big Boi, Ludacris, T.I., and Bone Thugs. Those names are known throughout hip hop. However, I never actually heard of Brother Ali until I saw your post. I went to youtube and typed it in, Daylight was the first to come up. Dude can spit and the beat was pretty killer. Needless to say, it was an automatic download. Another member giving great suggestions.

Bri: Biggie has always been close to my heart. One of my best friends was a HUGE Biggie fan. In the 90's, my friend who at the time was 13, convinced his dad to take him to New York to see Biggie live. Mind you, we live in Virginia. Couple of years ago, he was diagnosed with cancer and within a year, he passed. I remember the day he died, I was sitting with him and he started singing "Sky's The Limit". I'm actually getting teary-eyed saying this shit, but it was amazing. I grew up with this kid and we listened to Biggie together. Biggie's been an inspiration of sorts in my life since. So, I will definitely get Life After Death. Never will understand why I didn't have it before actually. The 2Pac suggestion went along ways. Me Against The World and All Eyez On Me were fire. Great suggestions Bri, appreciate it.

George2, Vector, Mirage, X_MANBEARPIG_X, and Power of Slash: Liked a lot of the suggestions. Especially from Vector. Curren$y and Childish Gambino were awesome to hear for the first time, and of course I already know of the rest of OFWGKTA. ;D. All and all, great suggestions from all you guys.
