Log in to remove this advertisement  TYLER, THE CREATOR Bio: Tyler, the Creator (born March 6, 1991), is an American rapper and record producer from Los Angeles, California. He is the leader of Los Angeles, California hip hop crew Odd Future. He has rapped on, and produced for, nearly every Odd Future release. On Friday, February 11, 2011 Tyler released the music video for the first single "Yonkers" from his upcoming sophomore album, Goblin, due to be released April 2011. The video has received much recognition from various online media outlets. After the release of "Yonkers", XL Recordings announced Tyler had signed a one album deal with the label. On February 16, 2011 Tyler appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, performing "Sandwitches" with fellow Odd Future member Hodgy Beats. This was Tyler's first television appearance. Bastard  1. Tyler is a genius, and 'Bastard' completely blew my mind when I first heard it. There's a sort of middle-finger to society "gross-out" veneer to it which I needed to get over initially (it offended me in ways few things had done before). But once I took a step back and saw the the lyricism and production for what it was (I get the feeling he saves the best beats for himself from what I've heard of the rest of the OF output), I really started to appreciate it. Bastard is genuinely poignant, hilarious, and twisted in almost equal measure, and I can't think of too many records that have pulled that kind of a combination off successfully. All this and I still think Earl Sweatshirt is the best OFWGKTA MC. Just.
