Was just about to start a thread for these guys but then I noticed you'd already posted one up.

Weathervains has just been released over in the UK and I gotta say I was quite impressed given the stick it's received from most of the loudest voices in the indie blogosphere. Admittedly these guys are never going to win any prizes for originality, borrowing heavily from The Postal Service, DCFC, The Shins and the indie-folk arrangements that have become so prevalent over the past couple of years BUT when music is so instantly gratifying and so easily listenable I don't think their lack of originality should be held against them. There's something refreshing about a band so intent on creating light, easy-going music that stands out from the dense, emotionally complex indie-rock albums that seem to dominate blogs' column-inches these days.

Yeah I'd say those are probably their three strongest tracks and a good place to start if you're interesting in checking them out.

A folk band definitely worth checking out. Their debut album is such a grower, I really like these guys - especially Ghosting.

Their new album Dilluvia was released today. Just got the email about it, had forgotten about them for a while. I'd recommend checking it out though. Their debut was really nice.

^ First video I checked out by them. Can't even remember how I stumbled upon them but the first album is so nice and intimate. Second album seems a little different - it doesn't seem to have that naïve sound the first one had but it still sounds very good.
