	Double post 'cos I'm major excited. Announced more London dates which went on sale at 9am (I had no idea) and my friend who got me interested in them, his mum loves them too and knew I did and booked tickets for all of us and a few others to go and rang me to let me know as I was on my way to my work induction. :D:D:D Bring on Brixton Academy on 13th December.

	Is anyone else (apart from Icedevil) super pissed that they lost out to the Mercury Prize? Especially as Lungs far surpasses the winning album. I just listened to it, Speech Therapy that is, and I really want my 51 minutes back. Lungs is refreshing, solid and has a great packaged cohesion of tracks to listen through. It strongly deserved to win imo.

	I'm right with you Q. It's bad enough that excellent albums from The Maccabees and Doves missed out on being nominated but for the award to go to Speech Debelle is a joke on par with Ms Dynamite's win in 2002 and that's not a snide stab at UK RnB, it's just the truth. Lungs is quite clearly the best album on the list and despite the fact that Island Records drafted in an army of song-writers to assist Florence she's one of the most prodigious talents to emerge from the stagnant British indie scene in the last couple of years and unlike Speech Debelle she'll (probably) still be around in 4-5 years. -------------------

	Agree fully with you both, listened to Speech Therapy last night and I'm honestly shocked that she took the award. The album has no structure, no flow, it's got a shabby recording, and I fell asleep trying to listen through a second time. To be honest, Speech Debelle was probably just as shocked as we all are when it was announced that she won.

	As usual I show up a couple weeks late to the party cause I'm a lazy little bugger. But I must say I'm thoroughly impressed. Just giving the album a first listen now. Every track is great so far. I don't even think I could pick a favorite. -------------------

	I've always loved that version. I downloaded that when i first heard of FATM back in May or summit. Great song in general tbh. But yeah, she does well with her covers. 	Galaxy of the Lost by Lightspeed Champion? If so, I need to check that out! I love the original Hospital Bed song so I'm curious as to how she does on it. I'll give it a listen in a bit.
