	//THE GIST: ----------------- The basic concept behind this thread should be fairly easy to follow. Basically people will take it in turns to post up 10 album covers for which the rest of us will then try to guess the correct artist name and album title. Once the 10 have been correctly guessed or a certain period of time has passed with the remaining covers unanswered, a new lot of 10 will be posted. To keep things interesting I'll keep an updated scoreboard of the most successful album art connoisseurs. You will only receive points for a successful pairing of album title and artist name. With any luck this game will reward the forum's most eclectic listeners with the most ordered itunes libraries. :b This format is subject to change depending on how things work out. If the game proves to be too easy then pixelated images could be used to raise the difficulty. //GUIDELINES FOR ALBUM ART: -------------------------------------------- Try to post album art from a wide range of genres to enable the whole forum a chance to get involved. Feel free to include album art from a variety of decades although be realistic in terms of when an obscure 50s album is simply too obscure. Limit the album art to LPs and major EPs only, no obscure singles releases please. If the album art contains the artist name and album title then these need to be distorted/covered up. 400400 pixels is the maximum size images that you should be posting up. Anything between 250250-350350 is ideal. Feel free to use [pre] tags to arrange the 10 images but try not to stretch the page. To resize the album art and cover up artist names/album titles you can use an online image editing site like DrPic or whatever image-editing you have lying around. No need for pixel-perfect editing. NOTE* If you wish to increase the difficulty of your round then you may now make use of image editing software filters to distort/pixellate the images. Check out XFM's album cover quiz to see the max level of difficulty/distortion that should be added. If your round is simply too difficult it will be skipped. We'll play this by ear for the first few rounds and see how it goes. << Previous thread -------------------
