I went back a few threads and found this nice little post to make the Linkin Park thread nice ice again. It looks better than it did because I added some nice coding, can I be paid for this?

edit - I would authorise some sort of payment but I'm afraid the Music Forum kitty is running a little low what with the GIGANTIC SALARY the supermods tempted me here with...

I'm loving the video for New Divide, quite possibly my fave video by them.

re: Linkin Park [VII]

I don't if I was just quick to judge but I thought the New Divide music video was less than average. Imo, there is nothing more lame than the band performing in an empty room playing and toying with the camera. That goes for all music videos and that's what killed it in this one. The effects were cool but I kept thinking to myself they only had those so it only wouldn't be scenes from the movie and just LP playing in a cave.

And yeah, Breaking The Habit was pure awesome.

Collision Course was a joke. I demand the removal of it!

Breaking the Habit was an awesome clip, but Papercut's the funniest. What the *bleep* was Chester thinking. ._.

re: Linkin Park [VII]

I quite like Collision Course, which is a given considering that it was the first album that kinda got me into them and to a lesser extent, hip-hop.

Am I the only one who thinks that while it is natural for a band to progress and find new sounds, Linkin Park should have kinda stayed with the sound of their earlier albums? Don't get me wrong, I like Minutes To Midnight and don't regret getting it, I'm just not really liking their new direction as much as I did the Rap-Metal years.

Are you the only one? *bleep* no.

Most if not all people think Hybrid Theory and Meteora are better than M2M.

M2M isn't necessarily 'bad' but Hybrid Theory and Meteora shit all over M2M.

That's the same reason Crawling was a good video.

I agree. But I doubt they'll ever be able to recreate their old sound.

It might be their new direction that's put me off them a bit. I don't listen to them as much now, and listen to things like Adema, Spineshank and Dope.

re: Linkin Park [VII]

Itunes released a new version of the New Divide video. It features more footage of the band performing and almost no movie footage at all. You guys can watch it here.

Can anyone put up the video for download? thanks.

Was I the only one to notice that she had 'NUMB' carved into her arms?

On that topic: look carefully on Joe Hahn's decks in the One Step Closer video. There's the old logo LP used when they were known as Hybrid Theory.
