They're really masters of their craft. 	lfc 2004 Don't expect them to be easy to get into haha. But check out De-Loused, and give it a few spins before you get used to its sound. It'll sound really alien at first but you'll love it after a good while, I promise. The only songs I liked at first were Inertiatic and Televators - I actually thought Televators was like Coheed and Cambria at the time, funnily enough. If you want stuff like Televators too, check out Copernicus, Since We've Been Wrong and With Twilight as My Guide.

	Cheers for that jeremy, will come in handy and I'll give them all a listen. Yeah EricF I've heard it's not particularly easy to listen to and could take a few listens but I'm ok with that, most of my favourite songs and even bands have started off like that so I'm willing to put the time in.

	Ain't that the truth. I originally wrote them off as self-indulgent drug-based crap, but some songs hooked me, and I gave them another chance. Now they're one of my favorites quote Arcaida According to some people with advanced press copies of the album, The Malkin Jewel is the most isolated song on the album - which is why it's a strange single considering it doesn't represent their new sound entirely. The Fall of Troy did that. They released "Vomiting Winter" before their last album came out. It wasn't representative of the album at all. 	Many bands are doing that these days.. They appear to be making a calculated decision on what they feel the weakest song on the album is and releasing that. It's possibly a measure to lower fan expectation as we are living in a era where music fans hype an upcoming release to the point where no matter how good it is, it'll never compare to their expectations... You release a weak single and the true fans will still buy the album but with more sensible expectations.

I second giving De-Loused a good go. I haven't found myself to care for much else they've done, a song here or there but not entire albums. De-Loused is hands down still one of my most highly listened to albums, but IMO it need to be listened to in one sitting, preferably without distractions and maybe even add some drugs if that's your thing. It's a masterpiece. One of the greatest albums ever created. Many friends like this band way before me, like when De-Loused came out, but I didn't care much for it until 2007 or so. Since then it's just love. -------------------

He may not be as impressive as Jon Theodore, but damn he's still good. The most memorable 2 and a half minutes in music for me!

	Well it had already been said that another album was ready as follow-up to Octahedron, much the same in how Octahedron was followed up immediately after Bedlam (And in some cases, during Bedlam sessions). Writing can be rather tough, and in the time Cedric's been going through stuff personally so it's understandable for him to be blocked in that regard. Omar can equally be understood in how much he is willing to produce, so there would obviously be pressure there. Omar does so much stuff it's no surprise Cedric's creativity is having trouble keeping up with it. -------------------

	Haha that comes as no surprise to me either. Just think of how many solo albums he's released in the short time he's been writing. Omar's definitely the driving force behind this band for me. As far as I know, he writes all of the music, leaving just the lyrics to Cedric.
