Just to sort this out, Mnemic's early work WAS Melodic Death Metal. Their ALbum, Mechnical Spin Phenomena, was Melodeath. But after that, they changed their style to Industrial Metal. So yes, they are not Melodeath NOW, but they used to be. And thanks. I'll look into those, buddy. EDIT: All that really caught my interests was Quo Vadis (which was pretty damn good). 	quote Chronoboy21 I could go with a few more suggestions. =/ All I can think of is Hypocrisy - in particular, check out The Fourth Dimension, The Final Chapter, Abducted (my favorite ) and their self-titled album, though Virus and A Taste Of Extreme Divinity (not out yet, only leaked at the moment) are worth checking out (not my favorite albums, but not bad stuff). To my knowledge: Their first two albums were pure death metal Everything between their self-titled album and Virus was angry power metal (power metal w/ death metal vocals, mediocre albums at that) -------------------

	Thanks to both of you. Quo Vadis was good, and I'm still trying to get used to Mors Principium Est (found out it translates to "Death is just the beginning")...althought they are slowly becoming nice additions to the library. I like to listen to thing a lot before a decision, but both band s seem to be growing on me. So thanks. I've been trying to find some new Melodeath bands for a while. These sound great. I have yet to listen to all of the suggestions, but I will. =] ------------------- Heavy Gauge

	So the polymetric tech metal shit? There are loads of unoriginal clones out there I feel (i.e. Textures and Coprofago) but my favourites are Periphery (unsigned Maryland band) and Fellsilent. Sikth might be another good one to check out. ------------------- ejaculadhesive.fm\|\|musicians corner
