	you can also use mist and kieran is good hes 1 of the few ax users in the game and and swordsmasters have high crit too and more attack and they arent backline units

	shes a good healer ONLY! shes only hard to train with swords! but with the staff shes awesome. In battle i use rhys and i use mist! and plus when you fight the black knight it will help somewhat. ------------------- I use the Abyss, blitz, and the Justices in the ps2 gundam game! 	If your Soren or any other Sage (aside maybe from the two prepromotes) end up with an A or S in staves you're doing something wrong. It's far easier to boost Rhys and Mist into S rank staves. Mist's sword fighting isn't as bad as you're making out. I admit I prefer themagic weilding valkyries of earlier FE games, but Mist can hold her own quite effectively. Namely she excels at fighting spell casters. While her strength was never going to surpass the other melee units it's OK (I think mine ends up around 16-18, can't remember exact numbers right now). Her very high resistance and the naturally low defense of spell casters means and her move again trait makes her ideal for taking out spell casters. It's also not that hard to train her to B rank in swords, providing you take full advantage of using her to tackle spell casters, especially with heavier swords like the Steel Sword. The Sonic Sword can prove very handy in her hands. Now, someone care to explain what the potential use of healers has got to do with comparing the two archer/sniper units? ------------------- Fire Emblem Awakening - You Want It.

	lmao my soren or ilyana gets a D in staves maybe C. i only need 2 healers out there and they both get the job done. when theres no enemies around them i heal someone with like 1 hp missing and its worth the 10 exp. plus they both heal alot.

	Your Sages should not be healing a lot. They should be the ones attacking actively. Their healing ability is meant as a backup. You're also neglecting to boost their spell ranks by focusing on healing, making it harder to use high level spells like Tornado or Thoron. Also, until a Mage promotes then you're already using a healer prior to that, and if used at every possible opportunity they should be at a decent level by the time your mage(s) do promote. You really should have a healer with an S rank. The Ashera Staff, while most likely unused in the main game, can prove very useful in Trial Maps. ------------------- Fire Emblem Awakening - You Want It.
