Best Magic user?

It's probably either Calill or Tormod depending on your team and playstyle.

Calill is statistically the best (comparable stats to Soren/Tormod without being underleveled). Tormod has that +2 move which you can abuse if you have the BEXP to spare.

Theoretically Soren could make himself useful early on if he is promoted early with a master seal so he can healbot early on + usable stats. I haven't experimented with it though, but having a Rhys that can attack better isn't too bad on paper.

Well yeah it is soren because he joins you very early in the game and that gives you more time and ememy to beat and i am on the tenth chapter an he is level 7 sage yeah buddy

That actually seems a little high. You might want to lay off Soren for a while and focus on getting your other units up to par before they become too drastically under leveled.

you are right catill and mist and rhys is also good to use but remember that at the end mist is with you so the black knight could kill her in one strike so when she evolves she is a calvery so you heal then move
